Welcome back J-Hope! ARMY (BTS fandom) is thrilled as the K-pop star stepped out of the military camp after completing his eighteen months of South Korean military service.
On Wednesday (Oct 17), J-Hope finished his military service and got a warm welcome with a flower bouquet, from his fellow band member Jin and of course his fans.
Wearing a military uniform and a black beret, the 30-year-old stepped out with a big smile and great energy at a military base in Wonju, Gangwon province.
Jin and J-Hope shared a warm hug as they had a brief chat and shared a bouquet. Jin was looking dashing in a tailored maroon suit with black sunglasses.
Later, Jin stepped ahead and greeted the media members and his fans.
"Thanks to the fans, I was able to finish it (the service) safely, with good health," he told those gathered.
"What I've felt for the past year-and-a-half is that a lot of soldiers are working hard, dedicating themselves, and doing so much to protect the country," he added.
Earlier this week, BTS agency BigHit Music urged BTS fans not to gather outside the military base. Despite this, several fans showed up to catch a glimpse of J-Hope.
J-Hope is the second BTS member to complete the mandatory service after Jin, who completed his military service in June.
He began his military enlistment in the South Korean Army on April 18, 2023. The rest of the BTS members are serving in the military.
Soon after J-Hope stepped out, several photos of him went viral with the ARMY going berserk.
