India woke up to the shocking news of toxic gas leak at a pharmaceutical chemical plant in Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh on Thursday morning. At least nine people have been killed and over 300 have been rushed to emergency services in the city.
Some of the visuals of early morning from the streets of Vizag have gone viral on social media and show the extent of the disaster with many lying unconscious on the streets.
Several celebrities from the film fraternity have offered prayers to the victim and paid condolences to those who have been killed.
From Bollywood celebrities like Karan Johar, Sunny Deol, Ayushmann Khurrana to south film actors Kajal Aggarwal and others - all have mourned the tragedy.

South Korean battery maker LG Chemical Ltd, the owner of the facility, located around 14 kilometers away from Visakhapatnam city, said the gas leak had been brought under control.
