Shah Rukh Khan is back as Mufasa, the king of Pride Lands! The highly-anticipated movie Mufasa: The Lion King is set to release in theatres on December 20, and before that the makers are keeping up the fan's excitement with every new release.

A few days after the release, Disney India announced that Khan is returning to voice the Lion King, Mufasa, and this time, his sons Aryan Khan and AbRam are going to accompany him. 

In the Hindi dubbed version, Aryan Khan and AbRam will lend their voices to the characters of Simba and Young Mufasa, respectively. SRK will voice the titular character of Mufasa.

This project will mark 11-year-old AbRam's debut in the cinema world.   

On Monday (Aug 12), the makers shared a clip from the newly released trailer, and wrote, '' बस एक ही होगा जंगल का राजा ?The king @iamsrk is back as Mufasa ? , with #AryanKhan and #AbRamKhan by his side. Mufasa: The Lion King in cinemas 20th December.''

For the unversed, Shah Rukh and Aryan Khan have lent their voices to the Hindi version of Disney`s The Lion King. The 2019 movie, directed by Jon Favreau, was a huge box office hit.

Mufasa The Lion King trailer 

Directed by Oscar-winning director Barry Jenkins, the upcoming movie will focus on the early life of Lion King Mufasa and his best buddy Taka aka Scar. At the D23 event in ​​Anaheim, California at Walt Disney Studios, Disney released the trailer of the movie, giving a sneak peek into Taka and Scar's early life. 

The official logline reads: "Mufasa: The Lion King enlists Rafiki to relay the legend of Mufasa to young lion cub Kiara, daughter of Simba and Nala, with Timon and Pumbaa lending their signature schtick. Told in flashbacks, the story introduces Mufasa as an orphaned cub, lost and alone until he meets a sympathetic lion named Taka — the heir to a royal bloodline. The chance meeting sets in motion an expansive journey of an extraordinary group of misfits searching for their destiny — their bonds will be tested as they work together to evade a threatening and deadly foe."
