Amidst swirling rumours and speculation about his whereabouts, Sean 'Diddy' Combs, the American record producer and rapper, was recently seen at Miami airport, dispelling earlier reports that he had fled the country. The 54-year-old music mogul was captured on video pacing back and forth at the airport, appearing tense, as investigators continued to search several of his properties in Miami and Los Angeles.
The video, taken hours after Homeland Security helicopters descended on his multi-million dollar properties, showed Combs dressed in dark blue sweatpants and an oversized white T-shirt, looking visibly stressed.
The footage contradicts earlier reports that suggested he had left the United States, with his private jet being spotted landing in the Caribbean, sparking speculation about a possible escape to Cape Verde.
Reports indicate that authorities confiscated Combs' mobile phones before he could board a planned vacation flight to the Bahamas.
Combs has been facing serious allegations of sexual misconduct and sex trafficking for months. He was recently accused by his former producer and videographer, Rod “Lil Rod” Jones, of sexually assaulting him multiple times during a 10-month period while he was working on the rapper’s album.
Earlier in the day, photos released by TMZ and Fox 11 showed only Combs' two sons in handcuffs during the official search of his properties.
The legal saga involving the rapper began in November 2023 when singer Cassie Ventura, Combs' former partner, filed a federal lawsuit alleging a pattern of physical and sexual abuse throughout their relationship. To know more about all the cases against Combs, click here.
