It was a night full of glamour at the MTV VMAs 2024. Sabrina Carpenter wowed her fans with some stellar performance of her hit songs like “Please Please Please,” “Taste” and “Espresso” as everyone grooved to peppy music and some amazing vocals. But that’s not all as Sabrina brought a whole alien-themed vibe to the stage of the music awards.
Sabrina Carpenter was introduced to the stage by legendary singer Cyndi Lauper.

Sabrina wore a sparkling, silver outfit and started off her performance with “Taste”. She was lowered to the stage and was joined by aliens and astronauts dancing around her on a set that resembled moon in space. It looked out of the world, quite literally.
She was later seen giving the alien an onstage kiss and was then met with an entourage of astronauts. They then all danced as she sang “Espresso” and “Please Please Please.”

Sabrina Carpenter went in big to the awards night with six VMA nominations, including artist of the year, song of the year for “Espresso,” best pop artist, best direction and best art direction for “Please Please Please” and best editing for “Espresso.”

Sabrina Carpenter has enjoyed a great year so far with back-to-back hits. Her latest album Short N’ Sweet last month, became the first No. 1 album of her career on the Billboard 200 chart. She also had three songs land in the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart, including “Espresso,” “Taste” and “Please Please Please”.
