Rajkummar Rao got a fatter paycheck for Stree 2 than Shraddha Kapoor?

Stree 2, starring Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Pankaj Tripathi among others, is doing massive numbers at the box office. In just two days of release, it entered the Rs 100 crore club. Reviews for the horror-comedy film have also been positive.

But did you know how much each actor got paid for the movie? A new report by ABP News claims that Shraddha received Rs 5 crore for the project while Rajkummar took Rs 6 crore home.

Another report by Free Press Journal revealed that Pankaj Tripathi was paid Rs 3 crore for the project while Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee got Rs 70 lakh and Rs 55 lakh, respectively.

Some reports even claim that Varun Dhawan charged Rs 2 crore for his cameo role in Stree 2.

It's important to note that the actors have not confirmed these numbers, as of now.

Stree 2's synopsis reads, "The town of Chanderi is being haunted again. This time, women are mysteriously abducted by a terrifying headless entity. Once again, it's up to Vicky and his friends to save their town and loved ones."

The film has been helmed by Amar Kaushik and produced jointly by Maddock Films and Jio Studios. The film has already earned Rs 172 crore in India.
