Jennifer Aniston went viral over the weekend as new photos revealed the 55-year-old Friends alum drenched in oil while filming a protest scene for The Morning Show in New York City. Aniston, portraying news anchor Alex Levy, appeared visibly upset as scene extras distanced themselves from the spill, leaving her covered in a thick black liquid.
Earlier this month, Aniston confirmed the start of production for season 4 of the Apple TV+ hit with a heartwarming Instagram post. The post featured a snapshot of Aniston alongside her co-stars Reese Witherspoon and Tig Notaro in matching denim outfits and holding up their name cards.
"Let @themorningshow season 4 games begin Here we come!” she captioned the post.

The Morning Show, which delves into the lives of news anchors at the fictional UBA network, has received a lot of love since its premiere in 2019.
Season 3 introduced Jon Hamm as Paul Marks, a newcomer hired to rescue UBA from financial turmoil. Meanwhile, Aniston’s character, Alex, entereda secret relationship with Paul.
The series often draws inspiration from real-world events, such as the aftermath of the Insurrection. Showrunner Charlotte Stoudt recently told The Hollywood Reporter that the ramifications of the characters' actions in season 3 will be felt deeply in season 4. "If we asked the audience to go on that ride, then we have to honour that ride," Stoudt said.
Since its debut, The Morning Show has earned over 50 award nominations. Aniston won a SAG Award for her role as Alex in 2020.
Though a premiere date for season 4 has yet to be announced, fans can watch seasons 1-3 on Apple TV+.
