There is a disorder called ADHD. I asked him if it was possible to cure ADHD. He told me it is easily curable if it is diagnosed during childhood. I asked him if it can be cured if diagnosed at 41."

He added, "I am clinically diagnosed with ADHD. Even if it’s not that big, I too have some traits of the disorder."

During his speech, Fahadh also emphasised the importance of early diagnosis and intervention for ADHD.

What is ADHD?

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder that typically begins in childhood and often continues into adulthood. People suffering from ADHD suffer from symptoms such asinattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity that heavily interfere with their daily functioning and development.

Major symptoms of ADHD include difficulty sustaining attention, forgetfulness, distractibility, restlessness, excessive talking, impulsive actions and trouble organising tasks.

The exact cause of ADHD is currently not known, however, several factors can contribute to the condition, including genetics, brain structure and function, and environmental influences.

Diagnosis usuallyinvolves evaluating symptoms, their duration, and their impact on daily life. Treatment often includes a combination of behavioural therapy, medication, and educational support.
