What a night it was! The jam-packed crowd at Ed Sheeran's concert were elated with joy after Marvel actor Chris Hemsworth made a surprise appearance on the stage.
On Saturday night in Bucharest, Romania, Hemsworth not only joined Sheeran on the stage but also showed off his other talent apart from acting, i.e. drumming.
As reported by Variety, the actor played the drums in front of an estimated 70,000 concertgoers. Sheeran and Hemsworth's performance was a collaboration for later's upcoming second season of Limitless with Chris Hemsworth.
The Avengers Endgame actor played drum during Sheeran's performance on “Thinking Out Loud” on stage.

Sharing a clip from the concert night, the Perfect singer wrote, “Got [Chris Hemsworth] to learn to play drums for my stadium show.”
The video shows Hemsworth getting ready for his performance and joining Sheeran onstage for the live gig.
Introducing the actor after his performance, the singer says, “He’s been onstage playing with us the whole time, playing in time,” the singer said, before adding,“Please make some noise for Chris Hemsworth!”
Talking about how the actor ended up performing drum on stage, the crooner revealed that Hemsworth reached out to him for the collaboration.
“Basically what’s happening is Chris emailed me last December saying he’s doing a documentary on cognitive health and the benefits of learning an instrument.”

“And he came to visit me, and he’s learned drums and he’s coming onstage in front of 70,000 [people],” the singer added as a visibly nervous Hemsworth stood beside him.
“I’ve been thinking about it … a lot,” the actor said in between. “It’ll be nice to put this one to bed.”
Post his performance, Sheeran also awarded Chris for his new-learned skill. “You really, really did well,” the singer told Hemsworth.
Honouring the actor with a trophy that showed a hand holding drumsticks, Sheeran said it's a “participation award” for “drumming excellence.”
Sheeran is currently on his +–=÷× Tour (aka The Mathematics Tour) and he's set to perform in Bulgaria, Cyprus and Brazil in 2024.
