Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree 2 to release this August
Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree 2 just got more exciting as makers teased that we can expect a huge actor to make a special cameo appearance in the horror thriller film. Some reports suggest that Bhediya actor Varun Dhawan will be seen in a special role in the film as Maddock brings its horror supernatural world together.
Varun Dhawan has been confirmed for a song with Shraddha in the film. Whether that would translate for a role in the film, is something we will have to wait to see ourselves.
Varun Dhawan to dance with Shraddha Kapoor in Stree 2
Varun confirmed the news by sharing a teaser of the song. The song is called “Khoobsurat” and it is a romantic track which will be released on August 9. Interestingly, Shraddha had alsomade an appearance in Varun’s film Bhediya. She danced to Bhediya’s track “Thumkeshwari”. Varun also made a cameo in Munjya which is another instalment in the horror comedy universe.
Stree 2 release date and cast
Stree 2 is made in collaboration with Jio Studios and Dinesh Vijan. The film is scheduled for release on Indian Independence Day, August 15. Stree 2 is helmed by director Amar Kaushik.
Stree 2 is a sequel of Stree released in 2018.
