Neetu Kapoor says Ranbir is ‘opposite’ of Rishi Kapoor when it comes to being a father

Ranbir Kapoor, his mother Neeti Kapoor and sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni werethe first guests of comedian Kapil Sharma's Netflix show The Great Indian Kapil Show.
The comedy show that marked the comeback of comedian Kapil to the stage, premiered on Saturday (March 30), and was packed with comedy sketches and fun chats. During their chat with host Kapil, the Kapoors also shared a lot of insights from their personal life, remembered thelate Rishi Kapoor, and revealed perfect father Ranbir's adorable moments with his daughter Raha.
Amidst the fun banter, Neetu Kapoor recalled how her son Ranbir is a lot different from his father Rishi when it comes to being a father.
Calling him a 'hands-on' father, the veteran actor talked about Ranbir's transformation after getting married to Alia Bhatt, and welcoming their first child Raha.

“Ranbir has changed a lot after becoming a father. He has become so caring.” Neetu said. To this, Riddhima added, “He is such a lovely, amazing father.”

Neetu added, "But I must tell you, he's the best father. I have seen many fathers but I haven't seen anyone like him. She [Raha] keeps looking for him and loves to play with her dad. Alia is a good mother."
"One thing I want to tell you, is all his expressions are for the screen. In real life, he's a very, like, yeah, okay, fine. He doesn't react much to things. For the first time, when Raha comes, you should see his face. It's full of expressions. He goes like this, you know, he's so happy. So I told him, I said, for the first time I see some expressions on your face to see your daughter like that."
Neetu added that Ranbir is totally different from his dad, who was never good with kids.

She added, ''He is the opposite of his father [Rishi Kapoor]. My husband was never very good with children.”
Ranbir and Alia welcomed their first child Raha in November 2022.
Neetu also went on to share how late actor Rishi Kapoor never spoiled Ranbir and Riddhima and taught them the value of money. Recalling when Ranbir and Riddhima were studying abroad, she said Rishi used to give them limited money in which they couldonly have their lunch and dinner.
