Nag Ashwani: Arshad should have "chosen his words better".

Breaking his silence on the viral matter, the ace director tried to calm the situation. However, he has expressed his disappointment with the actor's choice of words.

On Saturday, Ashwin reacted to a post on X shared by a fan. The clip from the sci-fi movie showed the Rebel star in the climax sequence of the movie.

Sharing the clip, a fan said that this particular scene was 'greaterthan' "whole Bollywood.''

Responding to the post, Ashwin asked fans not to start a south vs north debate.

He wrote, "Let's not go backwards… no more north-south or bolly vs tolly (Bollywood vs Tollywood)… eyes on the bigger picture… united Indian film industry… Arshad saab (sir) should have chosen his words better… but it's ok… sending Buji toys for his kids…''

Concluding the post, the director said, ''I will work hard so tweets… that Prabhas was the best ever in K2 (flexed biceps emoji)."

Prabhas, I am really sad, why was he… he was like a joker. Why? I want to see a 'Mad Max'. I want to see Mel Gibson over there. Tumne usko kya bana diya yaar. Kyu karte hain aisa mujhe nahin samajh mein aata (What did you make him? Why do they do such things?)."
