Ahan Shetty joins cast of Border 2, fans feel he will take dad Suneil Shetty's legacy forward

Suniel Shetty's son Ahan is the latest entrant to the ambitious Border 2 cast. Ahan Shetty made his debut in 2021, during the pandemic and naturally, his debut film almost went unnoticed. The young actor had since then kept a low profile but on Thursday announced his new film Border 2. The film, which was announced earlier this year, is a sequel to the 1997 war classic Border.

Border 2 will mark Sunny Deol's return to yet another of his most iconic films. This time around he will be sharing screen space with the next generation of heartthrobs, Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh. Ahan too is part of the show now.

Incidentally, the 1997 film featured Ahan's dad, Suniel Shetty, in a key role.

Fans showed excitement at Ahan's post and commented on how the young actor would be taking his dad's legacy forward.

Varun and Suniel too chimed in with their words of encouragement. While Varun commented, "Ahaan let’s do this brother 🇮🇳", Suniel shared, "Love you my baby ".

Directed by Anurag Singh, Border 2 is aimingat a 2026 release.
