Aditya Seal and Anushka Ranjan are celebrating a new chapter in their lives as the couple has welcomed twin baby girls. Their daughters were born on August 23, and Aditya and Anushka took to social media to announce the birth and names of their little ones.
The announcement was made through a joint Instagram post along with an illustrated pastel-themed card. The couple has named their daughters Vira Ranjan Seal and Mahi Ranjan Seal. The artwork showed two baby girls surrounded by flowers, butterflies and birds, and alongside the announcement, they wrote, "We are very excited to share the news! Meanwhile, Aditya wrote, "Our sunshine’s are here to brighten our lives. Our hearts are full of love and gratitude. Vira, Mahi," he wrote, adding the hashtag #TeamGirl.
A few months ago, the couple announced that they were expecting their children. In May 2026, Aditya and Anushka shared a series of maternity pictures on social media to announce the pregnancy. In the photographs, Anushka was seen flaunting her baby bump in a black bodycon outfit, while Aditya wore an all-black look featuring the word “Baap” written in Hindi on his T-shirt.
"I’ve waited a hundred years, But I’d wait a million more for you. Nothing prepared me for, What the privilege of being yours would do," the post read.
Earlier, Anushka had spoken about her IVF experience, saying, "I have taken around 150 injections, minimum. Initially, Adi(tya Seal) used to administer them. I used to get very scared. They were thick and oil-based. When he used to put the needle in, I used to cry in pain. I used to see him walking to me with the injection, and I was like, ‘I cannot deal with this anymore. I don’t know how I’m going to do this," she said.
The couple first met in 2017 at an event associated with Anushka's NGO, Beti. Their friendship eventually developed into a relationship, and after dating for several years, the two got married in Mumbai in November 2021.
