Salman Khan has sparked concern among fans as the actor was recently mobbed by a big crowd during a public appearance in Mumbai. The incident took place when Khan went to attend the opening ceremony of the President Cup 2026 at the Dadoji Konddev Stadium.
The event also saw the presence of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.
Salman Khan struggles through the crowd
In the now viral videos, the actor can be seen surrounded by fans as well as photographers as he tries to exit the venue. Though he arrived with his security convoy, it became difficult for them to manage the crowd as fans were too excited to get a glimpse of their favourite Bollywood star.

Despite the chaos, Khan, who was dressed in a brown shirt paired with black pants, appeared calm and composed even as security personnel struggled to create space for him to move.
In multiple clips, fans were even seen leaning toward his vehicle to capture photos.

As soon as the videos surfaced online, many fans highlighted the lapse in security. Users on the internet have highlighted their worries, highlighting that these circumstances could be dangerous since Khan has previously faced threats, including a shooting incident near his home in 2024.
One user said, "#SalmanKhan gets completely mobbed by fans but one thing is missing the security. After all the threats, this looks risky." Another wrote, "The crowd is insane. Not only him even the fans & paps can get hurt and it can lead to fatal injury too. Its scary." "Oh my gosh I get it people are really big fans but it’s disrespectful if he has no space to walk… like give him space," read the third comment.
