Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk-starrer Bad Newz was finally released in the theatres on Friday (July 19). Since the trailer launch, the expectations from the movie were high as the audience was keen to watch the unusual story of a single mom and a pair of dads.

Now as the rom-com is out, the moviegoers were quick to catch the first show of the comedy drama. So far, the movie has gotten mixed reviews from critics and audiences alike.

Directed by Anand Tiwari and written by Ishita Moitra and Tarun Dudeja, the movie is based on a rare medical condition of Heteropaternal superfecundation. For those unaware, in this condition, the woman gets pregnant with twins from different men. 

The movie revolves around Saloni Bagga (Dimri), a passionate chef living in Mussoorie. After divorcing her husband Akhil Chadha (Kaushal), Saloni moved to another town, where she met another man Gurbir (Virk).

Saloni ends up sleeping with both men on the same night and gets pregnant and a doctor later declares that both men are the fathers.

Netizens Reactions

After watching the first day of the first show, the reactions have been pouring in. Netizens have loved the chemistry, honour, dialogues, and cast performance, especially Vicky as the West Delhi boy. However, some people have expressed their disappointment with the movie's plot.
