
Two megastars, Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth, are coming together for the movie Vettaiyan.The movie which will be the Tamil star's 170th feature film,will reunite Big B and Thalaiva after 32 years. They last worked in the movie Hum (1991).
On Friday (May 3), Bachchan joined Rajinikanth on the sets of TJ Gnanavel’s upcoming film. To mark the special moment, Big shared afew photos from the sets of the movie.
Amitabh, who is an ardent social media user, shared a sweet photo of them, showing the two legends dressed in a sleek pantsuit, hugging each other.
In the caption, Bachchan wrote, ''Am honoured and privileged to be with the Thala the Great Rajni again .. he hasn’t changed at all .. the same simple humble down to earth friend despite his stratospheric greatness !!!''
Lyca Productions took to the official handle to sharepictures of both of them from the sets. Sharing the photos, the production house wrote, "The Titans of Indian Cinema! Amitabh and Rajinikanth are coming together for a film after a long period. In the past, the two legends have worked together inmovies like Andhaa Kaanoon (1983),Geraftaar (1985) and Hum (1991).

Directed by Gnanavel, the movie is touted to be an action thriller. The film has a huge star cast comprising Fahadh Faasil, Ritika Singh, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier and Dushara Vijayan.
No release date has been confirmed by the makers yet.

Bachchan, 81, was last seen in Ganapath, alongside Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon. Currently, he's gearing up for the release of Kalki 2898 AD with Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Kamal Haasan. In the movie, the veteran actor is playing the role of Ashwatthama.
