Ahead of India's first game in the Super 8s of the T20 World Cup, where they faceAfghanistan on Thursday (June 20) in Kensington Oval, Barbados, Virat Kohli met West Indies legend Sir Wesley Hall. During India's practice session, the two greats met each other as Hall gifted the 35-year-old his autobiographynamed "Answering the Call -The Extraordinary Life of Sir Wesley Hall". The highlight of the meeting was when Hall told Kohli that he follows his career statistics and urged him to "get 100 international centuries".
In the clip, Hall can be heard saying, "Um, I know I follow your stats, so you're on 80, get to 100 centuries". Here is the video of Kohli-Hall's meetup in Barbados:
Kohli has 80 international tons, the second-most in the sport, behind only Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar's 100.
Talking about WI great Hall, he played 48 Tests and claimed 192 wickets. The lanky pacer was a lethal weapon for WI and created enough fear in the batters' minds with the ball in hand.
