Social media pays tribute to James Anderson as legendary English bowler retires after West Indies thrashing
Legendary England bowler James Anderson bid farewell to international cricket on Friday (July 12) after his side thrashed West Indies in the first Test match at Lord’s. Playing in his 188th Test match, Anderson retired as the most successful pace bowler in the history of Test cricket with 704 wickets and was just for wickets shy of second-placed Shane Warne. After his retirement on Day 3 of the Lord’s Test against West Indies, social media paid tribute to the legendary bowler with wishes pouring from several corners.
