Given the Multan pitch is offering no support to the bowlers, England look set to take a daunting lead and would aim for Pakistan to crumble under pressure in the second innings. At the moment, Root is on the verge of scoring a triple ton and can also break Lara's record of the highest-ever score by a batter in whites (400 not out). Brook, on the other hand, will also look to surpass the 300-run mark post lunch.
