
Australia opener Travis Head says India is not his favourite opponent to play against. It is to be noted that Head hit centuries in both WTC Final 2023 and ODI World Cup 2023 to help Australia win both the ICC titles against India.
The Aussie opener, however, acknowledged that India is 'difficult' to play against but was happy to contribute in winning.

“I don't feel like they're my favourite. I just feel like we play them enough, play them lots. And, I guess the last couple of years I've been in nice form. So yeah, being able to, to play well, it's always nice,” Head said in a chat with Star Sport.
"I guess it's not hard to get up for the contest. It's hugely competitive. Yeah, it's easier to get up for the game. So I wouldn't say they're my favourite. They're extremely difficult but it's been nice to play well in a couple of games and looking forward to preparing well and being ready to go and let's look, hope hopefully I can, I can contribute to what's a successful summer for us," he added.
India and Australia will next face each other in five-Test Border-Gavaskar series from November later this year in Australia. While India would be hoping to win their third consecutive Test series Down Under, Australia will be looking to beat India for the first time since 2014 in a Test series.
India last lost to Australia in a Test series in 2014, which was played in Australia. Since then, India have won all four series played between the two countries, two in India and two in Australia.
With David Warner retired from all forms ofinternational cricket, Head could see himself in the opening position even though Australia preferred Steve Smith for the role ahead of Head in the series played against Pakistan and West Indies earlier this year.
