As India beat Sri Lanka by an inning and 239 runs in the Nagpur Test today, spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, 31,createdhistory by becoming the quickest to join the "300 club" in just54 matches, two matches shy of Australian pace bowler Dennis Lillee.
While he basks in glory, the Tamil Nadu spinner is not ready to rest on his laurels keen todouble his record.
"I really hope I can go on to double these 300 wickets. I've only played 50 Tests," India's star spinner told AFP. At present, Ashwin has scalped150 ODIwickets in 111 matches and 52 wickets in 46 T-20matches.
Ashwin is ranked fourth among the top-10 ODIbowlers in world cricket.
