Mercedes-Benz Museum hosts a month-long urban culture festival

The Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart is set to become the epicentre of urban culture this summer, hosting a month-long festival featuring an eclectic mix of performances and events. From July 18 to August 18, 2024, the museum's open-air stage will come alive with music, dance, comedy, and various artistic expressions, offering residents and visitors alike a unique cultural experience.

Bettina Haussmann, Director of Mercedes-Benz Museum, emphasised the event's significance, stating, "Urban Culture at the Mercedes-Benz Museum with concerts, club evenings, and comedy now has a large fanbase. Artists from various fields will be offering their programmes to large audiences. They will be performing on their own initiative, and we will make our open-air stage and infrastructure available to them. The diversity of programs underscores the importance of the Mercedes-Benz Museum as a cultural venue."

The festival kicks off on July 18 with "Best of Poetry Slam" at 7 pm, setting the tone for a diverse lineup of performances. Literary enthusiasts can look forward to "Best of Erotic Slam" on July 24 and "Kopfkino Vol. 14" on July 28, both starting at 7 pm. Comedy takes centre stage with "Comedy 72" on August 4 at 7 pm and the "Stuttgarter Comedy Clash" on August 16 and 17 at 7:30 pm, promising evenings filled with laughter and entertainment.
