Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy’s DOGE seeks ‘super-high IQ’ candidates

Tesla CEO Elon Musk and Indian-origin biotech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy announced that they are hiring for their new United States Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Musk and Ramaswamy are seeking “high-IQ small-government revolutionaries” who are willing to work over 80 hours a week without pay.
In an X post, the department posted from its official handle, “We are very grateful to the thousands of Americans who have expressed interest in helping us at DOGE. We don’t need more part-time idea generators. We need super high-IQ small-government revolutionaries willing to work 80+ hours per week on unglamorous cost-cutting.”

“If that’s you, DM this account with your CV. Elon & Vivek will review the top 1% of applicants,” it added.
However, to send a message to a DOGE account to submit applications, users need an X subscription. To get a verified X account, users need to pay $84 a year for the premium membership.

Trump appoints Musk andRamaswamy
US President-elect Donald Trump earlier announced the appointment of Musk and Ramaswamy to the department, saying “Together, these two wonderful Americans will pave the way for my administration to dismantle government bureaucracy, slash excess regulations, cut wasteful expenditures, and restructure federal agencies – essential to the ‘Save America’ movement.”
Musk has vowed to reduce federal bureaucracy by one-third and reduce the US government spending by $2 trillion, a move that he said “necessarily involves some temporary hardship”.
The X owner has emerged as a strong ally of Trump since the first assassination attempt on the Republican. He is the largest donator to Trump’s campaign after donating $120 million. Musk has also held rallies and events for Trump and promoted his campaign message consistently on X.
