According to Mexican media, at least 12 people were reported dead and 18 injured in a bus crash that took place in eastern Mexico.
While 7 of the total number of people injured were identified as Americans, the authorities did not disclose any data on passengers who died in the accident.

"We express our condolences to all those affected by this tragedy," a spokesman for the USEmbassy said on the crash.
The officials said they were in contact with local authorities to identify if there more UScitizens on board.
