The trade conflict between the US and China is escalating yet again,
With president Trump saying the United States is already in a trade war.
On Wednesday, Trump also defended the use of tariffs as a tool for national security.
He claimed that without tariffs, ‘we would be exposed as being a nothing’ and argued that tariffs were essential for defence.
