UPI Scales Another Major Milestone

India’s unified payments interface or UPI has marked another major milestone as it prepares to enter Japan.
The development follows a new partnership between NPCI international payments limited and NTT data Japan.
This collaboration will soon allow Indian travelers to make payments directly through their UPI apps at merchant outlets across Japan.
The move underscores the advancement and influence of UPI's growing global digital payments landscape.
