Thailand is set to implement a 300-baht (approx. USD 9 or INR 750) tourist entry tax for all foreign visitors arriving by air, land, or sea. The fee will fund tourist insurance, safety upgrades, and infrastructure improvements. Known locally as “Kha Yeap Pan Din,” this long-awaited move is expected to roll out within four months.
