Rishi Sunak's plan to make maths compulsory in UK schools

The "core maths content" taught in schools will be examined by a group of experts, comprising mathematicians and business leaders. It will also take into account whether a new mathematical credential is required. Opposition parties, however, criticised the government's track record of hiring maths instructors.
