Iran war: US officials says actual military death toll may also be higher

The Pentagon has quietly raised the number of U.S. service members wounded in the Iran war to 861, after adding 37 personnel to its public casualty database. The update includes 29 Navy sailors and eight Marines. The Pentagon database does not publicly explain when or how the newly added personnel were injured, while a Navy spokesperson said the 29 sailors have since returned to duty.
