Israel has approved extended security protection for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his family, citing a high threat level linked to possible retaliation for wartime operations and targeted assassinations. Under the decision, Sara Netanyahu will receive protection for her husband's lifetime, while their sons will remain under security cover until 2031, even if Netanyahu leaves office.
