India, Japan unveil joint roadmap for economic partnership
The 16th India-Japan Annual Summit has concluded in New Delhi, resulting in a landmark roadmap to elevate the bilateral partnership. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Japanese PM Sanae Takaichi have set an ambitious target of mobilising ¥10 trillion (approx. USD 68 billion) in Japanese investment into India over the next decade. Beyond traditional infrastructure, the new focus is on frontier technology, resilient supply chains, and economic security.
