Couple 'getting intimate' in Range Rover accidentally hits gear stick, makes car fall into river

The situation turned extremely weird for a couple after they accidentally hit the gear stick and placed it in the back gear because of which the car plunged into the Philadelphia River while they were having sex in the backseat.
The couple were getting intimate in the backseat of a 2020 Range Rover around 4:15 am (local time) on Wednesday (Aug28) near the Schuylkill River in Fairmount Park when one of their limbs bumped into the gear stick of the SUV, stated the police while speaking to NBC10.
Couple escapes unhurtand faces no charges
In some seconds, the car tumbled over the edge and fell into the river. The couple were lucky enough to jump out of the car in time before it sank into the river, the police informed the outlet.
However, the situation turned very embarrassing for the couple as they had to swim back to the dry land. None of them suffered any injuries in the incident.

The headlights of the car spread an eerie green glow in the entire water of the river till it was attended by the fire department.
Speaking to NBC10, the police said that they suspect the couple were “getting busy” because of which the incident occurred.
The officials removed the Range Rover from the river at around 9 am (local time), as reported by the outlet.
In the images, the SUV was shown completely submerged in the river close to theStrawberry Mansion Bridge.
The law enforcement officials said that the erogenous couple did not have any pending charges against them.
Just weeks before another car had driven inside the Schuylkill River, as reported by Fox 29.
A witness had said that he had seen a 4-door sedan running on the road when it suddenly stopped and plunged into the river.
What was strange was that no one was found inside the car even though all the four doors of the car were locked.
The Philadelphia Police Department has been investigating the incident.
