Run a Google search for smart TVs and you will be served with hundreds of options to choose from. In other words, the smart television market has become highly competitive. One such contender in this crowded space is the Coocaa 65Y73 Pro. The television claims to offer a good mix of performance, features, and value, but does it deliver what it promises? Let's find out.

I have observed that the packaging boxes for TVs are not very exciting and the one that contains the Coocaa 65Y73 Pro is no exception. I think that companies should make a conscious effort to make these boxes look a bit more attractive.

Open the box and you get a 65-inch QLED TV (Coocaa 65Y73 Pro), power cord, remote, batteries, base stand with screws, quick start guide, and a warranty card. One thing that is missing is a wall mount. So, if you want to mount the TV on a wall, you will have to buy it separately. I think the company should have included it in the box because not everyone wants to put the TV on a table.

The Coocaa 65Y73 Pro looks appealing. Thanks to its slim profile and modern looks, the all-black TV can complement any home decor. The remote that comes bundled with it has buttons neatly spaced out. The controls are intuitive and responsive. Its far-field voice control feature allows users to control the TV with their voice seamlessly, adding to the ease of use.

Talking about its display, the 65-inch TV with Ultra HD resolution delivers great brightness, deep blacks, and accurate colours. Thanks to its Matte Screen Display, you can get rid of reflections and unnecessary shadows to a great extent and enjoy your favourite shows and movies. The HDR10+ technology and Dolby Vision support further add to the visual quality. Having said that, I believe the HDR performance can be improved. Its processor uses AI to dynamically adjust backlight levels, eliminating flicker for a comfortable viewing experience.

The audio experience is as good as the viewing experience. The 40W built-in speakers compatible with Dolby Atoms generate an immersive sound experience. The sound quality is loud and clear. Users can choose from different sound modes - Standard, Vivid, Sports, Movie, and Music - for better results.

Powered by Google TV, the Coocaa 65Y73 Pro offers users access to various streaming apps and other smart features. While the overall performance is good, I experienced a bit of lag on certain occasions. I hope these random bugs causing the system to misbehave are fixed in software updates.

Priced at INR 45,999, the Coocaa 65Y73 Pro offers value for money. If you are planning to buy a 65-inch smart TV at a competitive price, you should check it out.
