Woman loses hearing ability permanently after Samsung Galaxy Buds FE explode inside her ear

A Samsung Galaxy Buds FE user in Ankara claimed that his girlfriend faced a life-threatening situation when the electronic device exploded inside her ear and left her with permanent hearing loss.
Seeking help, the man posted his story on the Turkish forum of Samsung, which came to the attention of various media organisations.
As per the post, the user had purchased the new Samsung Galaxy Buds FE, which he had planned to use with his Galaxy S23 Ultra phone.
He said that the earbuds were 36 per cent charged and he did not charge them even once.

He added that he gave the Galaxy Buds FE to his girlfriend to try them, however, they exploded inside her ear and led to permanent hearing loss.

The user also posted pictures of the exploded earbud on the Samsung forum.
How Samsung reacted to the incident
The user said that he contacted the company and then took the exploded Galaxy Buds FE to a Samsung service centrelocated in Cemalpasa, Adana.
“When they saw the headphones, they were shocked and apologised, but that's where the problem started. Two days later, they called and stated in the report that the headphones had not exploded, only deformed, and offered us a new pair of the same model as a goodwill gesture,” the user wrote in the post.

"Samsung said, 'Take it or leave it. If you wish, you can pursue your legal rights'," claimed the user.
“I have been dealing with this issue for months now. We have everything, including the invoice, the date of the explosion, before and after photos, and a medical report stating hearing loss due to the explosion,” he stated.
