The challenger for the WWE Universal title match against Roman Reigns in the main event, Cody Rhodes, recently appeared on the "Out of Character with Ryan Satin" and opened up on Sami Zayn’s increasing popularity among the fans, which&nbsp;led to talks of a potential triple threat match at Mania doing rounds.</p>

<p>As reported earlier, WWE was genuinely concerned with Sami’s popularity among the fans following Elimination Chamber Live Event in Montreal. They feared that to listen to what the WWE Universe wants, they would have to change the original plan for Mania's main event.</p>

<p>However, sharing his thoughts on the rumours of Sami getting added to the title match at the Showcase of Immortals, Cody said he would take anything coming his way as a challenge. While in this case in particular, he would not look at it as something negative.</p>

<p>The WWE Intercontinental Champion Gunther is making headlines for all the right reasons. After putting up an incredible show at the first live event of the year in the 2023 Royal Rumble, Gunther carried his Intercontinental run pretty well on the blue brand. As the company is closing on finalising his potential opponent at WrestleMania 39, the Ring General Gunther in an exclusive chat with "Cheap Heat with Peter Rosenberg," opened up on facing Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar in the future.</p>

<p>To begin with, Gunther talked about his performance at the Rumble that saw him breaking the long-standing record held by Rey Mysterio as he remained inside the ring for one hour and 11 minutes. Ahead of his much-awaited match against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39, WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes shared his game plan. The two superstars are set to lock horns at the event to fight for the coveted Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. It is to be noted that the American Nightmare earned the right to challenge for the title by emerging on top in the Royal Rumble match this year. Prior to his face-off with Roman Reigns, the Ace of BBC Sounds quizzed Cody Rhodes regarding how he plans to dethrone his opposition. To this, the former TNT Champion responded by saying: "I think one of the sobering things about Roman Reigns, is sometimes real life happens, right? You see it in sports all the time, sometimes the better story is defeated by the better competitor, and I think I have to come into this not sweating the individual that is Roman Reigns, the God-tier superstar," said Rhodes. I can't ride those emotions, I have to just be the literal best, bell to bell. I just have to come in with more gas in the tank. I have to come in as disciplined as possible. I just don't want to be a casual of that," added the WWE Superstar. It won't be an easy task for Rhodes to get past The Tribal Chief. Such has been Roman Reigns' form that he has dominated WWE as its top champion since 2020. Some top names such as Brock Lesnar, John Cena, and Goldberg have tried to get the better of him but failed. Hence, Rhodes has a herculean task ahead to surpass Roman Reigns.
