<p>In a heartfelt revelation, Samantha recalled a moment of relief before her health struggles began, stating, "I remember telling [my friend/partner/manager], finally I feel calm. I haven’t felt a little relaxed and a little calm in a very, very long time. And I finally feel like I can breathe and I can go to sleep, and I can now wake up and focus on my work and be the best that I can be at work. And I woke up with this condition."</p>

<p>The actor, who got separated from her husband Naga Chaitanya around the same time, expressed that the experience led her to start the podcast. She emphasised the importance of health awareness, especially regarding autoimmune conditions like hers, which require lifelong management.</p>

<p>She added, "The reason I wanted to do this podcast was because after the experience, the harrowing experience that I’ve been through and well, an autoimmune condition is lifelong, so with what I’m dealing with right now as well, I’d rather want people be safe than sorry."</p>

She reportedly is in New York where she celebrated Indian Independence Day with the Indian diaspora. <p>Samantha will next be seen opposite her Mahanati co-actor Vijay Deverakonda in <em>Khushi</em>. The film is directed by Shiva Nirvana and produced by Mythri Movie Makers. This is Sam’s second collaboration with Shiva too after the success of the 2019 film <em>Majili</em>.</p>

<p><em>Khushi</em> was initially slated for a December 2022 release, but after postponement, the film will be released on September 1. Both the lead actors, Vijay and Samantha would have high hopes for <em>Khushi</em>, as their previous films were a flop.</p>

<p>Apart from <em>Khushi</em>, Samantha will also feature in the Indian version of <em>Citadel</em>, opposite Varun Dhawan. The makers of the <em>Family Man</em> series have wrapped up the shooting for <em>Citadel India</em> and now the series is in the post-production phase.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Samantha Ruth Prabhu was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called Myositis, which leads to the weakening of muscles, a year ago. The actress shared an extensive post to narrate how her journey has been ever since the diagnosis. Samantha dropped a slew of pictures and videos from the Church of Saint Sava in Belgrade, Serbia. In the caption, she talked about her “forced new normal”, “battles with the body”, diet changes, medicines, as well as professional failures.</p>

<p>"It's been one year since the diagnosis. A year of forced new normal. Many battles with my body... no salt, sugar or grains with a cocktail of meds for the main course, forced shutdowns and forced restarts. A year of seeking meaning, reflection and introspection. Of professional failures too... to make things more interesting. A year of prayers and poojas... not praying for blessings and gifts... but praying to just find strength and peace,” she started her long note.</p>

<p>Samantha stated that this year has taught her that not everything goes your way all the time, and it’s okay if it doesn’t. She said that sometimes it's not about grand successes but "functioning forward" that itself is a win. The actress wrote: "A year that has taught me that not everything goes your way all the time. And more importantly, that it's ok when it doesn't. That I must control the controllables, let go off the rest, and keep moving forward one step at a time. That sometimes it's not about grand successes, but that functioning forward is in itself a win. That I mustn't sit around waiting for things to be perfect again or wallowing in the past. That I must hang on to love and those I love... and not give hate the power to affect me.”</p>

<p>Some fans get tattoos, others travel miles to get a glimpse of their favourite stars. But, one Samantha Ruth Prabhu fan has taken star worshipping to a whole new level. If reports are anything to go by, a die-hard fan of the <em>Yashoda </em>actress, identified as Tenali Sandeep, has built a temple in his house in Alapadu village of Bapatla district on the occasion of the actress' birthday.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The fan wanted to build a bigger temple in honour of Samantha but couldn't because of money constraints. The temple has a statue of the actress dressed in a red saree and green blouse.</p>

<p>Apart from acting, the fan admires the actress for her philanthropic work. And, it also encouraged him to help the needy and distribute food items on her birthday.</p>

<p>Speaking to ANI, the fan said, "Samantha took the initiative to perform heart operations for needy children through a foundation. As she herself hails from a humble background, she always stands for the needy ones. This incident made my admiration double for her."</p>

Samantha Ruth Prabhu's 'Shaakuntalam' is now releasing on this date

<p>After weeks of speculations, Prime Video confirmed on Wednesday that Samantha Ruth Prabhu will star in the Indian version of the web series 'Citadel'. The web series will mark Varun Dhawan's digital debut and has been created by filmmaker duo Raj &amp; DK who has earlier made the 'Family Man' series.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Samantha will star alongside Varun Dhawan in the Indian instalment of the 'Citadel' universe, the global-event series from Prime Video and the Russo Brothers’ AGBO. The untitled Citadel series based out of India is written by Sita R Menon, along with Raj &amp; DK. The streaming service also confirmed that the production is currently underway in Mumbai. After this, the unit will head to North India and then onwards to international locales like Serbia and South Africa. The untitled Indian original 'Citadel' series will be available to Prime members in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.</p>

Taking to her Instagram stories, Samantha shared a photo of herself from the recording studio where she has been&nbsp;undergoing treatment and she's&nbsp;making a heart with her hands. Along with the picture, the actress penned a heartfelt note for all her fans who have shown immense love to the recently released trailer of her film 'Yashodha': "Your response to the Yashodha trailer was overwhelming. It is this love and connection that I share with all of you that gives me the strength to deal with the seemingly unending challenges that life throws at me.''&nbsp;<br />

In the note, the 'Family Man 2' actress also revealed that she was recently diagnosed with Myositis.&nbsp;</p>

<p>South Indian film stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Vijay Deverakonda suffered injuries while performing a stunt scene in Kashmir. The duo are filming for their new film 'Kushi' in the valley state.&nbsp;<br />

According to reports, both got injured while performing stunts.&nbsp;<br />

“Samantha and Vijay were performing a stunt sequence in the Pahalgam area of Kashmir during which they sustained injuries. The scene was very tough. Both the actors had to run a vehicle over the rope tied on both sides of the Lidder river, but unfortunately, the vehicle fell down into the deep water and both injured their backs," a crew member told Hindustan Times. &nbsp;“They were given first aid on that day itself.”</p>

"Both the actors were immediately rushed to the hotel nearby on the banks of Dal Lake. Physiotherapists were called in and therapy is going on,” the crew member informed and added, “Both the actors are shooting under tight security and nobody is allowed to come close to them."&nbsp;</p>

South Indian film stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Vijay Deverakonda suffered injuries while performing a stunt scene in Kashmir. The duo are filming for their new film 'Kushi' in the valley state. According to reports, both got injured while performing stunts. “Samantha and Vijay were performing a stunt sequence in the Pahalgam area of Kashmir during which they sustained injuries. The scene was very tough. On Sunday, both Prabhu and Deverakonda continued filming, this time at Dal Lake in Srinagar but both complained of backaches during the shoot. "Both the actors were immediately rushed to the hotel nearby on the banks of Dal Lake. Physiotherapists were called in and therapy is going on,” the crew member informed and added, “Both the actors are shooting under tight security and nobody is allowed to come close to them." The film's first poster was unveiled earlier this month on social media and it is scheduled to hit theatres on December 23. It will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. The project marks the second collaboration between Prabhu and Deverakonda, after 'Mahanati' (2018). Meanwhile, Prabhu uploaded numerous images from the location on her social media and enjoyed the local cuisine of Kashmir during her stay.
