The producers are currently fighting with the DGA over pension payments and Gerard Butler stated that Nu Image and Millennium are deducting residuals that are never paid out.</p>

The lawsuit also accuses that a ‘comprehensive, premeditated scheme’ to allegedly hide money away and deprive Butler of net profits with word of agreements with distributors made in a fashion so that not all gross receipts have to be reported.&nbsp;</p>

Johansson filed a lawsuit against the company alleging that the studio breached her contract when it released ‘Black Widow’ simultaneously in theaters and on Disney+, a move she claims potentially cost her as much as 50 million USD.</p>

In response to her allegation, a Disney spokesperson said in a statement, “The lawsuit is especially sad and distressing in its callous disregard for the horrific and prolonged global effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Disney has fully complied with Ms. Johansson’s contract and furthermore, the release of Black Widow on Disney+ with Premiere Access has significantly enhanced her ability to earn additional compensation on top of the $20M she has received to date.”</p>

Women In Film, ReFrame and Time’s Up didn’t take that well. In the joint statement, the organizations did not comment “on the business issues in the litigation” and focused instead on comments about the pandemic and her salary.</p>

Venice Film Festival: The complete Venice VR Expanded section  is out!

<p>Hollywood star Ben Affleck is making a comeback as Batman in actor Ezra Miller-led 'The Flash' and from what all the pictures and videos suggest—the film crew is currently shooting in Glasgow—he now has a new suit and ride to show off.&nbsp;</p>

Fans, who have posted numerous pictures and videos from the set, are convinced it is Alleck underneath that suit and ride.&nbsp;</p>

The film, which began production in England early this year will see Affleck, play one version of Batman, while Michael Keaton will reprise his role of the vigilante he had played in Tim Burton's 1989 film, ‘Batman’.</p>

Keaton, who has been spotted filming in London, is yet to be seen in his version of the Batman costume.</p>

<p><br />
In an interview with an entertainment site, director Andy Muschietti talked about Affleck’s character arch. “Affleck's Batman has a dichotomy that is very strong, which is his masculinity, because of the way he looks and the imposing figure that he has, and his jawline, but he’s also very vulnerable. He knows how to deliver from the inside out, that vulnerability. He just needs a story that allows him to bring that contrast, that balance,” he had reportedly said.&nbsp;</p>

<p><br />
Ben Affleck was planning to direct and star in a standalone Batman film for Warner Bros., but stepped down from directing it in 2017, handing over the project to Matt Reeves that will feature Robert Pattinson in the lead.</p>

The record’s central theme revolves around a classic teenage love saga, with both the twins taking turns crooning about raging emotions and mixed signals centered around a love interest. At that time, we had no idea that we would collaborate with a legend like Wiz Khalifa. We were just making the best possible music that we could out of our college dorm room. After our feature on Wiz Khalifa’s Rolling Papers 2, we met multiple major labels to discuss our career and to show them our unreleased music. ‘Naughty Or Nice’ was a standout track amongst all the label reviews! Since it was just THEMXXNLIGHT vocals at the time, they recommended that we hold off the release till we had a good enough global feature since they believed it was already a smash hit. After tons of studio sessions with Wiz Khalifa and after our performance at Sunburn India with him, we felt we had built up our relationship to the next level. One day, we randomly decided to play the song for him in the studio to get his initial feedback. He immediately stood up and started dancing and asked, “Ya’ll want a feature on this? Man, your vocals sound insane. I’ll hop on it right now.” About 30 minutes later, he completed his verse, and the engineer arranged the song. We must have played it back around 20 times! The vibes were amazing, and we just felt super proud of ourselves in that moment. Sledgren was also in the room as well, which made the moment even greater!”&nbsp;</p>

Speaking about how the song came about Krish Chandani (aka Luv) states, “In our early college years, one of us had met a girl from “The Westside”, meaning the West Coast (since our college was on the East Coast of the US). Sometimes she would be really sweet and fun to be around, but most of the time, she would play games and never commit to the relationship. One night around 2am, after a college party, we both went back to our dorm room and talked about how confused we were about this girl’s intentions. This situation inspired the creation of “Naughty or Nice” and we recorded the song on the spot. No studio. No big set up. Just us two, the mic, and a computer. &nbsp;This is the most anticipated song of our entire career thus far! We’re just proud of how far we have come and to be representing the Indian community around the world. This is a big moment! Words can’t describe the way I feel! Just very grateful for all the support thus far and for the love that Wiz Khalifa has shown towards us over the years. One day, we randomly decided to play the song for him in the studio to get his initial feedback. He immediately stood up and started dancing and asked, “Ya’ll want a feature on this? Man, your vocals sound insane. I’ll hop on it right now.” About 30 minutes later, he completed his verse, and the engineer arranged the song. We must have played it back around 20 times! The vibes were amazing, and we just felt super proud of ourselves in that moment. Sledgren was also in the room as well, which made the moment even greater!” Speaking about how the song came about Krish Chandani (aka Luv) states, “In our early college years, one of us had met a girl from “The Westside”, meaning the West Coast (since our college was on the East Coast of the US). Sometimes she would be really sweet and fun to be around, but most of the time, she would play games and never commit to the relationship. One night around 2am, after a college party, we both went back to our dorm room and talked about how confused we were about this girl’s intentions. This situation inspired the creation of “Naughty or Nice” and we recorded the song on the spot. No studio. No big set up. Just us two, the mic, and a computer. This is the most anticipated song of our entire career thus far! We’re just proud of how far we have come and to be representing the Indian community around the world. This is a big moment! Although grateful for the opportunity—she has also worked with him on his Apple TV+ series, ‘Servant’—Saleka was ‘especially nervous about working with her filmmaker father. “I was especially nervous to write a song for the film because it is so large scale, and my dad is very specific about every little thing,” she told an entertainment portal.&nbsp;</p>

“He had a vision of the song and how it would fit, and I didn't want to let him down! He did give me a lot of artistic freedom and trust, though, to create anything I want. I was able to bring out some of my classical piano roots for this one and record a piano-based piece. I was even able to arrange the string parts myself, which was the first time I did that solo! The composer of the film, Trevor Gureckis, shared some of the atmospheric sounds he used in the movie score, and I snuck some into the song as well to create some subliminal continuity. What a wild feeling to start writing this song on a keyboard in my bedroom and then hear it months later in this incredible film!” &nbsp;Saleka added.&nbsp;</p>

Talking about how the collaboration happened, Saleka said, “He gave me the script to read and told me that one of the characters in it sings a song, and he wanted me to write it… The script was such a masterpiece, suspenseful, emotional, chilling, there was so much to draw from artistically. My dad told me he wanted the song to emphasize the love story between Guy (Gael García Bernal) and Prisca (Vicky Krieps), and especially the feelings and perspective they have at the end of the film.”&nbsp;</p>

Although she was worried about letting her dad down, Saleka said they regularly inspire one another to with their creative pursuits. “We talk about film, music, [and] art a lot in my family, and often help each other with ideas for projects we are working on. So collaboration with my dad actually felt very natural,” added the songwriter.&nbsp;</p>

We saw it as a story of perspective, and so Ben and I wrote the male perspectives and Nicole wrote the female perspective.”</p>

&nbsp;“I think we just found that having made… like making movies for 30 years, we actually learned something about structure along the way and the process went along a lot faster,” he said. “And so I think we’ll write a lot more in the future just because it didn’t turn out to be as time-consuming as we thought,” said the actor about co-writing more with Affleck.&nbsp;</p>

In comparison, writing ‘The Duel’ was easier then writing the script of ‘Good Will Hunting’. Damon explained, “I think that writing process for Good Will Hunting was so inefficient. You know, because we didn’t really understand structure so we wrote thousands of pages.”&nbsp;</p>

“Back in the day, we didn’t have deadlines because nobody cared what we were doing, no one was waiting for the script, we were unemployed, so we literally had nothing else to do,” he joked.&nbsp;</p>
