The untitled project is currently underway in Spain and stars many of his previous collaborators including Adrien Brody, Bill Murray, Jason Schwartzman, and Tilda Swinton.</p>

However, the latest to join this brigade are Margot Robbie and Tom Hanks while Scarlett Johansson, who previously worked with Anderson on 'Isle of Dogs', is having her first live-action collaboration with him.&nbsp;</p>

Rupert Friend has also joined in.</p>

The details of this yet-to-be-titled project, which Anderson has written and is directing, have been kept under wraps but it has been indicated that the cast for this one is larger than most other Anderson productions.</p>

<p>Almost after six months after Ryan Fischer was shot while taking care of Lady Gaga's entertainer's pets, he has launched a GoFundMe campaign with the aim of raising enough money to purchase a van so he can continue traveling the country in search of healing methods 'that support the process of growing from trauma'.</p>

<p><br />
Now an entertainment portal has reported that Gaga has covered Fischer's medical bills related to the shooting, which was a sum of $100,000 (approx).</p>

<p><br />
"All that time spent reclaiming my body, I now needed to be equally devoted to strengthening my emotional and mental health. With no vehicle, apartment, and having run out of savings and surviving on donations from generous loved ones, I am humbly asking for your help. This is not an easy thing to ask, but I have started to realize sharing your vulnerability with others is exactly when radical change begins to occur for everyone involved," he wrote on his funding page, which has reportedly generated roughly $3,600 of a $40,000 goal so far.</p>

<p><br />
According to Fischer, he has left his Hollywood Hills home to drive across the United States in a 1991 Ford Falcon as he dealt with 'long bouts of depression and doubt and self-pity' and visited friends, family, and new places that added towards his growth journey.&nbsp;</p>

<p><br />
The car, however, is no longer in working condition after two months of use, and his money-raising attempts are dedicated to securing a new vehicle so that he can continue with the rest of his journey.</p>

<p><br />
For the unversed, in February, Fischer was shot in the chest while he walked three of Gaga's French bulldogs on North Sierra Bonita Avenue in Los Angeles.&nbsp;</p>

<p><br />
A pair of assailants jumped out of a vehicle and assaulted Fischer before making off with two of Gaga's pets, Koji and Gustav, while another, Asia, was able to escape.&nbsp;</p>

<p><br />
Five suspects were later arrested in connection with the incident after a woman returned the dogs safely.</p>

<p><br />
According to the report by a news agency, those arrested were unaware of the fact that the dogs belonged to Gaga, and that they targeted the animals only for their high value.</p>

<p><br />
After the attack, Gaga offered a $500,000 reward for the safe return of her dogs, and released a statement praising Fischer's heroism. "I continue to love you Ryan Fischer, you risked your life to fight for our family. You're forever a hero."</p>

<p><br />
Subsequently, Fischer's recovery has been both physical and emotional, according to an Instagram post.&nbsp;</p>

<p><br />
He revealed that in addition to having a portion of his lung removed, he's often confronted by people who force him to recall the trauma, saying things like, "You're Ryan! You got shot. You were shot! Where were you shot? Where'd they shoot you?"</p>

<p><br />
"It's a strange thing to be known for a trauma that I'm still healing from. People want to reach out, share in my pain for a moment, and then walk away, leaving me to relive it again," Fischer recalled.&nbsp;</p>

According to Fischer, he has left his Hollywood Hills home to drive across the United States in a 1991 Ford Falcon as he dealt with 'long bouts of depression and doubt and self-pity' and visited friends, family, and new places that added towards his growth journey. The car, however, is no longer in working condition after two months of use, and his money-raising attempts are dedicated to securing a new vehicle so that he can continue with the rest of his journey. For the unversed, in February, Fischer was shot in the chest while he walked three of Gaga's French bulldogs on North Sierra Bonita Avenue in Los Angeles. A pair of assailants jumped out of a vehicle and assaulted Fischer before making off with two of Gaga's pets, Koji and Gustav, while another, Asia, was able to escape. Five suspects were later arrested in connection with the incident after a woman returned the dogs safely. According to the report by a news agency, those arrested were unaware of the fact that the dogs belonged to Gaga, and that they targeted the animals only for their high value. After the attack, Gaga offered a $500,000 reward for the safe return of her dogs, and released a statement praising Fischer's heroism. "I continue to love you Ryan Fischer, you risked your life to fight for our family. You're forever a hero." Subsequently, Fischer's recovery has been both physical and emotional, according to an Instagram post. He revealed that in addition to having a portion of his lung removed, he's often confronted by people who force him to recall the trauma, saying things like, "You're Ryan! You got shot. You were shot! Where were you shot? Where'd they shoot you?" "It's a strange thing to be known for a trauma that I'm still healing from. <p>Although he has lost his legal battle with his ex-wife Amber Heard in the United Kingdom that has reportedly caused problems in his acting career, Johnny Depp will now get a second libel trial to show he didn’t physically abuse her, reports confirm.</p>

On Tuesday, a Virginia judge reportedly ruled that the decision last November in Depp’s suit against the publisher of The Sun shouldn’t impact his second case against Heard over an opinion-editorial piece published in the Washington Post.</p>

Amber Heard is being sued in that latter case over a December 2018 column where had written, “I became a public figure representing domestic abuse, and I felt the full force of our culture’s wrath for women who speak out.”</p>

This suit in Virginia was expected to go to trial first, but owing to multiple delays, Depp’s U.K. case went on trail instead. &nbsp;<br />
In the U.K., the actor has sued over a news item that had labelled him a 'wife beater'. After a trial that lasted weeks, Judge Andrew Nicol found substantial truth to the article in The Sun, specifically with regards to 14 incidents that happened during the troubled marriage, reports said.</p>

The ruling, which Depp was unsuccessful in getting overturned through appeal, left him in the atypical position of arguing he didn’t get everything he wanted in the country, which has allegedly been the case for libel tourism since the burden of proof is on the defendant and not the complainant. Also, public figures needn’t show actual malice, says a report.</p>

Amber Heard, in turn, has argued that the Virginia court should recognize the U.K. court judgment, and since both actions centered on whether Depp was a domestic abuser, declare the matter already adjudicated.</p>

In an opinion on Tuesday, Fairfax County Chief Judge Penney Azcarate reportedly rejected Heard’s motion because of the lack of privity. While Heard may have argued that her interests were aligned with The Sun, the judge says those interests weren’t identical.</p>

"In fact, Defendant could not have been a named defendant to the U.K. litigation because her allegedly defamatory statements were made after the U.K. action commenced," the judge added.</p>

Garrett Hedlund internalizes the trauma-filled pride of a soldier, grappling with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) in this John Crowley directorial. Similarly, another lesser known yet widely experienced disorder that no one seems to be talking about, Delayed Sleep-Phase Syndrome, takes the centre stage in Zoe Chao’s episode two, ‘The Night Girl Finds A Day Boy’, love attack by Jesse Peretz. “In love with a vampire,” is a recurring comment that comes up frequently when a charmer-types falls in love with a man who is on nature’s clock, and she isn’t. To pass a judgment on these grave issues would be criminal, hence, the hard pass.&nbsp;</p>

Titled ‘Strangers On A (Dublin) Train’, two Irish poeple stumble upon one another on their way home for what is presumably a short, ‘stupid’ break. “The madness will be over soon (referring to the initial stages of lockdown,” says a suave Kit Harington, here seen as ad wiz Michael. The tomfoolery that we see in the face of adversity and unpredictability is almost cute. This third episode is the clichéd version of say-hello-to-medieval-romance and we have seen better, but, we will make do for two reasons: Kit Harington (there’s a ‘Game of Thrones’ joke in it, if you are looking) Irish-ness and the fact that we had all once tricked ourselves into believing that it will all be over soon. ‘A Life Plan For Two, Followed By One’ is, however, a different ballgame. There’s sex, jealousy, crass comedy and tongue waggling. The ‘Judas &amp; The Black Messiah’ star, Dominique Fisher, is a comedian feeding off rapper jokes. Fun, feisty, she just wants to be loved by her knight in shining armor. Her first love fails, like most first loves do. This Marta Cunningham production is quasi-modern. The comedy troupe works, love and friendship? Not so much!</p>

You see each other from across the road—years later—what are the odds of this happening in New York City? Still, it does. It’s the movies, duh! Marquis Rodriguez’s deep-set eyes, literally, moves the narrative forward. You know these secret lovers wouldn’t reunite or break into a long embrace after all that history, but you still want to wait it out, just in case. This one hits out of the park, at least for some. “Am I?... Maybe This Will Tell Me’ is about an outwardly confident-‘maybe’ bisexual kid whose go-to solution for real problems is the Holy Google. Tap, click, repeat. Celine Held &amp; Logan George’s story starts out well; full of promise, and then reduces into a short film that couldn’t cram in all its crucial plot points. That teenage rush, of wanting to learn to live more before living, withers away as flawed storytelling takes over.&nbsp;</p>

A disheveled Minnie Driver secretly pines for her dead first husband—she talks to him in his rundown car, and sniffs his sweater when no one’s watching—before, finally, bringing herself to sell his overbearing Stag. The agony of having loved and lost, and loved again, shines through Driver’s saggy skin and sad-looking eyes. This, and the finale episode, is inarguably the finest in ‘Modern Love 2’. Staying true to its essence, after all, ‘Modern Love’ is built on the foundation of faulty humans and troubled decisions, is ‘Second Embrace, With Hearts and Eyes Open’—the last one for this year. Sophie Okonedo’s amicably parted with her husband, while he is acing the ‘Best Daddy’ game, she seems to be ‘getting worse’. Despite the grin-able camaraderie, and a lot of hook-ups-between-exes, the climax leaves one with a sense of hopelessness—pretty much what we have been feeling all-year long, aren’t we?&nbsp;</p>

This third episode is the clichéd version of say-hello-to-medieval-romance and we have seen better, but, we will make do for two reasons: Kit Harington (there’s a ‘Game of Thrones’ joke in it, if you are looking) Irish-ness and the fact that we had all once tricked ourselves into believing that it will all be over soon. ‘A Life Plan For Two, Followed By One’ is, however, a different ballgame. There’s sex, jealousy, crass comedy and tongue waggling. The ‘Judas & The Black Messiah’ star, Dominique Fisher, is a comedian feeding off rapper jokes. Fun, feisty, she just wants to be loved by her knight in shining armor. Her first love fails, like most first loves do. This Marta Cunningham production is quasi-modern. The comedy troupe works, love and friendship? Not so much! Episodes five and seven are deep dives into sexuality and identification of the ‘one’ who’s somewhere buried in layers of Instagram DMs and Tinder swipes. Andrew Rannells’ ‘How Do You Remember Me?’ has been plucked straight out of the media houses’ 2019-published book by the same name. Two people, one one-night stand, and tragedy befell. You see each other from across the road—years later—what are the odds of this happening in New York City? Still, it does. It’s the movies, duh! Marquis Rodriguez’s deep-set eyes, literally, moves the narrative forward. You know these secret lovers wouldn’t reunite or break into a long embrace after all that history, but you still want to wait it out, just in case. This one hits out of the park, at least for some. “Am I?... Maybe This Will Tell Me’ is about an outwardly confident-‘maybe’ bisexual kid whose go-to solution for real problems is the Holy Google. Tap, click, repeat. Celine Held & Logan George’s story starts out well; full of promise, and then reduces into a short film that couldn’t cram in all its crucial plot points. That teenage rush, of wanting to learn to live more before living, withers away as flawed storytelling takes over. Trust ‘Modern love’ to treat you with a real sob fest, and it happens in the second installment, too—and this declaration comes from experience and sheer experience alone—with the modern-day Shakespearean-esque tragedies. The opening episode, ‘On a Serpentine Road, With the Top Down’, and the closing one pierce through your heart, as they were meant to. A disheveled Minnie Driver secretly pines for her dead first husband—she talks to him in his rundown car, and sniffs his sweater when no one’s watching—before, finally, bringing herself to sell his overbearing Stag. The agony of having loved and lost, and loved again, shines through Driver’s saggy skin and sad-looking eyes. This, and the finale episode, is inarguably the finest in ‘Modern Love 2’. Staying true to its essence, after all, ‘Modern Love’ is built on the foundation of faulty humans and troubled decisions, is ‘Second Embrace, With Hearts and Eyes Open’—the last one for this year. Sophie Okonedo’s amicably parted with her husband, while he is acing the ‘Best Daddy’ game, she seems to be ‘getting worse’. Despite the grin-able camaraderie, and a lot of hook-ups-between-exes, the climax leaves one with a sense of hopelessness—pretty much what we have been feeling all-year long, aren’t we? The pulse of ‘Modern Love 2’ is a metaphor for amusement-park rides—this moment you are bawling over sappy love songs and romantic anecdotes, and the next is overridden by cringe. But, after a long-hard day, you need someone to sprinkle some hope & confidence all over you. And if ‘Modern Love 2’ does that, so be it. After all, as uptight Spence comes to relealise in episode six, “Life never goes as per plan.”

But, deep within, she was reeling under the stress of racial profiling and a sense of insecurity that came with incessant bullying. "The racial discrimination I faced was when I was younger and that did kind of set the tone for my growth and the kind of insecurities I would have," Disney’s 'Spin' lead actress tells WION during&nbsp;a conference call from America.&nbsp;</p>

In this&nbsp;exclusive conversation with us, on the day of her big musical release 'Spin', the dancer- &nbsp; &nbsp;turned-actor—all of 16—recounts the horrid details of racism she had to face in the hands of 'fellow kids', her dreams and hopes for the future and how an unorthodox move by Disney shaped her career, hopefully for the better.</p>

<strong>WION: You are Disney’s first Indo-American lead. How did you land a gig like that?</strong></p>

<strong>AVANTIKA:</strong> I actually auditioned for this role when I was 12 years old and it was my first Hollywood audition ever and I was still working in India at the time. But I still auditioned and got a call back, and that was my ticket to Los Angeles, ticket to Disney to see Hollywood for the first time. Unfortunately, after that, the project (referring to 'Spin') went on hold. Actually, not unfortunately though, it was going on hold for further development for authenticity and make it as well-rounded as possible. But, it came back (to life) at the beginning of last year and I re-auditioned for it again and here, the audition process is pretty standard and it lasts about four months for a feature film. You have to do an audition, a call back and a producer session and then you perform in front of the entire network and in this case, it was Disney. So, this is the same process that i went through and Disney actually told me in the (audition) room—which is a bit unorthodox, that rarely happens—that I was booked and that was so exciting! It was like a full-circle project for me that I auditioned for and also the first big project that I booked.&nbsp;</p>

<strong>WION: As an Indian-American, what kind of racial discrimination have you faced so far, if at all?</strong></p>

<strong>AVANTIKA: </strong>As an Indian-American, the kind of racial discrimination I have faced has mostly ever come up when I was younger. When I was younger, I had comments like 'Go back to your country', calling me a Paki (a slang for Pakistani immigrants living in America). I think it was common a lot for kids my age and people of South Asian descent faced, and making fun of me putting oil in my hair and making fun of the fact that I eat curry. It was just really disappointing comments and things that were being said by, unfortunately, kids my age which I think is even more hurtful to see. You know, a child spout that kind of hateful things. But, as I have grown up and seen the rise of social media, bring awareness to how these words can impact people, I have been fortunate to experience less of this racial discrimination and it’s helped my confidence a lot more. So, predominantly the racial discrimination I faced was when I was younger and that did kind of set the tone for my growth and the kind of insecurities I would have. But, I am finding that my confidence is growing because of how social media has made other South Asians and I feel less alone in our struggles and they are bringing awareness and bringing to light how these comments are affecting us. People are being a little bit more considerate and a little bit more sensitive, which I think is good.&nbsp;</p>

<strong>WION: Through 'Spin', what are the most common stereotypes about India that you wish to shatter?</strong></p>

<strong>AVANTIKA: </strong>I would like to shatter through ‘Spin’ that, you know, Indians can only be in STEM because we have so much talent and our culture is specially so art-centric as well. We teach our kids Carnatic music and instruments and dance. So I hope that at least the American perception of us Indians would be that we are equally as talented and equally as capable in artistic fields as well in STEM. So that is one stereotype I would like to shatter I would also like to shatter (the belief) that all of our parents are rigid and super strict because even though they may be hesitant to send us to artistic fields for career-wise—STEM comes from a sense of protectiveness, and a sense of ‘we want to keep our kids safe and make sure they have a comfortable life’—but it doesn’t come from a hyper sense of control even though that maybe a by product. I hope this movie conveys the nuances of that kind of a relationship and enlighten the public.&nbsp;</p>

<strong>WION: India turns 75 today, what are your dreams and hopes for the Indian youth?</strong></p>

<strong>AVANTIKA:</strong> My dreams and hopes for the Indian youth is that we show the world how amazing we are. I think India is so underestimated in so many ways and I hope our youth is able to show everyone their power and all the things we are capable of, and I also hope that we make India a safe place for people from different walks of life. I hope that the Indian youth is able to change the mindset that India has had and begins to turn us into a more progressive direction and allow for LGBTQ+ youth to be themselves and for women to be themselves. I hope we are able to promote that kind of a direction and I feel like for such a beautiful country, we need to have a sense of beautiful sense of diversity for our community as well. That’s my hope!</p>

I chose this career seeing myself doing this for a very, very long time. Probably, for the rest of my life. I would absolutely love to do it and I am working really hard. On Friday, the woman, identified as Jennifer Hough, filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court in Eastern New York and alleged that Petty 'intimidated' and 'harassed... not to speak out concerning the rape she experienced at the hands of Defendant Petty'.&nbsp;</p>

The woman also accused Minaj also 'threatened' to recant her legitimate claim that 'Defendant Petty raped her'.</p>

In the court documents, Hough has reportedly accused the &nbsp;couple of 'witness intimidation, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligent infliction of emotional distress, harassment, assault, battery, sexual assault, and sexual harassment'.</p>

The lawsuit, obtained by a global news organisation, shows a detailed report on how back in September of 1994, when Hough and Petty were both 16 and living in Jamaica, Queens (New York), she ran into him on her way to school when he later held her at knifepoint, led her into a nearby house and raped her.&nbsp;</p>

Petty was arrested that day for first-degree rape and later pleaded guilty to attempted rape, says the same report. He was sentenced to 18 to 54 months in prison.</p>

On February 25 last year, Petty was charged for failing to register as a sex offender, which is a requirement under the 2006 Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act (SORNA).&nbsp;</p>

He was later added to the California Megan’s Law database, which tracks sex offenders in the state of California, where Petty and Minaj reside with their son, whom the rapper gave birth to last year.&nbsp;</p>

Two weeks ago, Judge Lisa B. Lench dismissed the count of sexual battery by restraint as ‘too old’ and outside the statute of limitations, but had allowed the district attorney’s office to amend the allegation against the 69-year-old former movie tycoon and convicted rapist.</p>

But on Thursday, the judge found that neither of the two attempts at an amended complaint from prosecutors solved the problem, and so she rejected the count again.</p>

However, the judge gave the prosecutors something to work with on the dismissed count situation, saying that if they reconvene the grand jury and get it to return a new indictment for it, she may accept it. But no specific instruction—as to how the approach should be—was offered by her.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The rejected count dates back to May of 2010. And Harvey Weinstein was first charged with it in January 2020, before the statute of limitations had expired. Prosecutors then got an indictment from a grand jury on an identical count six months later, when the time had lapsed.</p>

“The people are grasping to try to save something that is unsalvageable. “They did it, they blew it, they can’t fix it,” Weinstein attorney Alan Jackson said in court.&nbsp;</p>

The judge also agreed with that the grand jury indictment was a new prosecution, and therefore was coming too late.<br />
However, the prosecutors argued that it was a continuation of the same case.</p>

The counts maybe a small part of the case, as reports call it, but dismissing the same removes one of five accusers from Weinstein’s forthcoming trial.</p>

“Today’s a great example of why we need judges with a backbone… and juries with a tough spine to stand up against false accusations,” Weinstei’s &nbsp;attorney Mark Werksman reportedly said outside court.</p>

In a statement sent to an entertainment portal, Weinstein’s representative said, “We are pleased that the judge agreed that one of the charges alleged was barred by the statute of limitations. It remains dismissed and, given the statute and the fact that Harvey maintains his innocence of the charges, it never should have been brought in the first place. We consider this a partial victory, but know there is quite the road ahead. Harvey remains optimistic and hopeful, and must focus on his health right now.”</p>
