US President Donald Trump's trip to Scotland has been in the news for all the wrong reasons – people protesting against his visit and accusing the United Kingdom leaders of pandering to the Americans. Now, his Scotland visit is making headlines for the so-called "Golf Force One", an armour-plated buggy that was on full display at the Royal Turnberry, as Trump enjoys golf during his golf-centric trip to Scotland. The armoured golf buggy has come to light a year after Trump survived an assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Just extra precaution, or has someone threatened to kill Trump?
Exactly 12 months after the 13 July 2024 assassination attempt in Pennsylvania, the site where Trump's iconic "fight, fight, fight" pictures were clicked, the Secret Service seems to be taking extra precautions on Trump's outing. Soon after, on 15 September 2024, while playing his favourite sport – golf – Trump was once again made the target of a gun when a gunman fled after firing a shot. The Secret Service, which came under fire for not protecting Trump properly last year, has pulled out all stops, according to reports. As per the Daily Mail, along with the armoured buggy, Trump's Golf games have been accompanied by a stream of army trucks, road checkpoints and snipers to protect the US president's life.
Trump's Golf Force One or The Beast
As per reports, the armoured buggy carries striking similarities to "The Beast", the official US presidential car that accompanies the POTUS on most journeys. While Trump opted to use a standard white golf cart, the black intimidating-looking buggy trailed him throughout the golf course. Security experts suggest that it carries all the tell-tale signs of being an armoured protection vehicle. Talking to the Telegraph, Gary Relf, director of Armoured Car Services, said that based on photos, "that is 100 per cent armoured...The windscreen is a giveaway, as are the side panels, doors, and the large panel at the rear above the load tray." Identifying the armoured vehicle as a modified Polaris Ranger XP, the expert said that it would have been designed to give the passengers maximum protection while remaining light enough not to damage the golf course. He noted that the vehicle appears to be equipped to be "defensive not offensive" and said that the tinted windows could hint at a robust transparent armour.

The United States and the European Union struck a tentative trade deal on Sunday to avert a tariff war that would have been devastating for two of the world's biggest economies, after talks at US President Donald Trump's Turnberry resort in Scotland. The two leaders struck a deal in a race against time before a self-imposed deadline of 1 August.Under the agreed terms of the deal finalised by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and US President Donald Trump, the majority of EU exports bound for the American market will be slapped with a 15% tariff. The deal finally brought months of tense negotiations to an end as the EU is the United States’ single biggest source of imports.Under the deal, the European Union will invest heavily in American energy and also buy military equipment, Trump said.
US to impose 15% tariff on most European goods
The deal imposes a 15% tariff on most European goods to the US, which is lower than the 30% Trump had previously threatened against the United States’ largest trading partner. Trump further said that the 27-member bloc has agreed to purchase $750 billion worth of US energy and make investments worth $600 billion in the US.“It’s a very powerful deal, it’s a very big deal, it’s the biggest of all the deals,” Trump said alongside von der Leyen. “It’s a good deal, it’s a huge deal, with tough negotiations,” von der Leyen said.
‘Biggest deal ever made, will bring stability and predictability’
“I think it's great we made a deal today instead of playing games,” Trump said at the conclusion of the meeting. “I think it’s the biggest deal ever made.”“We have a trade deal between the two largest economies in the world. And it’s a big deal. It’s a huge deal,” said von der Leyen, adding, “It will bring stability, it will bring predictability. That’s very important for businesses on both sides of the Atlantic.” President Trump held talks with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen at his Turnberry resort in Scotland, where he has been golfing this weekend, to strike a tariff deal. Trump said that he has a “50/50 chance” of striking a deal with the European Union this weekend. “That would be actually the biggest deal of them all, if we make it,” he said after landing in Scotland. The meeting between Trump and Ursula von der Leyen began with the US president saying, “We’re here with her very brilliant staff, and hopefully we’ll resolve a few issues.” The European Commission president flattered President Trump on one of his points of pride in her opening remarks, saying, “You are known as a tough negotiator and dealmaker.” Trump also spoke highly of Ursula von der Leyen and said that she has “really done a terrific job—for [Europe],” and is “highly respected.” “Europe is very closed. We don’t sell cars into Europe. We don’t sell, essentially, agriculture of any great degree…We have a rough situation,” said Trump in response to a media query.

The US and EU have the largest bilateral trade and investment relationship in the world, representing almost 30% of global trade in goods and services and accounting for 43% of global gross domestic product, according to EU figures.
‘Iran have been very nasty…was beaten up very badly’
Trump slammed Iran in response to a media query and said, “Iran have been very nasty… Iran was beaten up very badly...for good reason we cannot let them have a nuclear weapon, but they still talk about enrichment. I mean, who would do that? You just come out of something that's so bad and they talk about, ‘We want to continue enrichment.’ Who would say that? How stupid can you be to say that? So we are not allowing that to happen.”

Trump also reiterated his stand against alternative energy and said, “We will not allow a windmill to be built in the United States. They’re killing us. They’re killing the beauty of our scenery ... It’s the most expensive form of energy. It’s no good. They’re made in China.” Asked if he can “do better” and go lower than a 15 per cent across-the-board tariff rate for the European Union, President Trump said, “No.” European Union officials said they believe that a deal with the United States could be reached in time to avoid the 30 per cent tariffs on European imports that Trump has threatened to impose on Aug. 1. At the start of their meeting, Trump again put the odds of reaching a deal at 50/50.

Trump also said that pharmaceuticals will be treated separately from this deal with the European Union, which would be a big blow for Europe as it was hoping to cap the tariff rate on medicines, which are their number one export to the United States. “Pharmaceuticals are very special,” Trump said. “This is the biggest deal, people don’t realise,” Trump said, acknowledging how big the transatlantic relationship remains.

The Donald Trump administration once promised to secure 90 trade deals in 90 days but fell well short of that goal. Recently, Trump has announced a number of trade deals, including one with Japan. The US and EU have the largest bilateral trade and investment relationship in the world.

US to impose 15% tariff on most European goods The deal imposes a 15% tariff on most European goods to the US, which is lower than the 30% Trump had previously threatened against the United States’ largest trading partner. Trump further said that the 27-member bloc has agreed to purchase $750 billion worth of US energy and make investments worth $600 billion in the US. “It’s a very powerful deal, it’s a very big deal, it’s the biggest of all the deals,” Trump said alongside von der Leyen. “It’s a good deal, it’s a huge deal, with tough negotiations,” von der Leyen said. ‘Biggest deal ever made, will bring stability and predictability’ “I think it's great we made a deal today instead of playing games,” Trump said at the conclusion of the meeting. “I think it’s the biggest deal ever made.” “We have a trade deal between the two largest economies in the world.

The Donald Trump administration once promised to secure 90 trade deals in 90 days but fell well short of that goal. Recently, Trump has announced a number of trade deals, including one with Japan. The US and EU have the largest bilateral trade and investment relationship in the world.

US President Donald Trump, in a meeting with the EU Chief Ursula von Der Leyen, said that the US gave $60million for food for Gaza and "nobody is saying thank you" for that. "We gave $60 million two weeks ago — and nobody even acknowledged it ... When I do that, a lot of people aren't happy about that because they say, 'Well, why are we doing it and nobody else?' But I think we had a humanitarian reason for doing it," Trump said in a meeting in Scotland on Sunday (July 27). The American president also said that there were multiple bodies of the Israeli hostages in Gaza, and the Netanyahu-led government will have to make a decision. "A lot of bodies of hostages are there - many family wants their bodies. Israel has to make a decision," Trump added.
‘Very nasty’ Iran
The American president also talked about Iran and called the Islamic Republic "very nasty" for its nuclear programme bid. We are not allowing it to happen," Trump said.
'No more excuses'
After announcing a daily temporary pause in the war in Gaza to allow limited humanitarian aid, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said there were "no more excuses" for the United Nations (UN), which had said earlier that Israel was not allowing aid into the strip. “To complete this goal, of eliminating Hamas and also the release of our hostages, we are advancing in the fighting and conducting negotiations. Whichever path we choose, on any path, we will have to continue to allow the entry of minimal humanitarian supplies. We have done this until now. We are allowing them. There are secure roads. There have been all along, but today it is official. There will be no more excuses," he added.

US President Donald Trump on Saturday (Jul 26) posted a meme comparing former President Barack Obama to OJ Simpson but ended up making fun of his Vice President JD Vance. The meme is a photoshopped version of the iconic picture of OJ Simpson driving his white Bronco while being chased by a squad of police. In it, Simpson has been replaced by Obama and Trump himself, along with Vance, featured as the drivers of the two police squad cars immediately behind Obama's car. However, the internet's attention has been captured by Vance and his unusual appearance.
What's wrong with JD Vance's face?
A closer inspection of the meme posted by Trump shows that the image of JD Vance used is, in fact, a meme itself. The image, which shows Vance with a wider, moon-like face and long curly hair, was used to make fun of him a few months back.

The reaction to the meme was immediate; social media users quickly pointed out Vance's meme within the Obama as OJ Simpson meme, "LMAO! President Trump just posted a photo of him and JD Vance chasing down Obama in police cars...look closer at JD's face. No way".Replying to a post on X, JD Vance himself responded with a laugh emoji, supposedly taking it in good humour. However, netizens were quick to poke fun at Vance's response, commenting, "You all know Vance is crying inside." Others told the US VP to "Zoom in you dummy".

Trump “covering up for paedophiles?”
Others were not so kind. Multiple users used the opportunity to slam Vance and Trump over the Epstein files. “Is the joke that you’re covering up for paedophiles?” asked one user, while another commented, "Imagine believing this hoax is anything more than a cover up for the presidents pedophile ring?"."So, someone got problems because of posting this photo of you, and now you're laughing when the pedo posts it??? Disgusting!," said one user referring to the January 2025 incident where a 21-year-old Norwegian tourist called Mads Mikkelsen was detained by the US Customs and Border Protection (USCBP) at Newark Airport for five hours allegedly for having a doctored photo of Vance, featuring an egg-shaped bald head. At the time USCBP said, " "Fact Check: FALSE," they posted, “Mads Mikkelsen was not denied entry for any memes or political reasons, it was for his admitted drug use.”

A closer inspection of the meme posted by Donald Trump shows that the image of JD Vance used is, in fact, a meme itself. Here's all you need to know:

Pope Leo XIV on Sunday (Jul 20) slammed the "barbarity" of the Gaza war, urging for a peaceful resolution. His statement comes days after the Israeli military carried out a deadly strike on the only Catholic Church in the Gaza Strip. Speaking at the end of the Angelus prayer at Castel Gandolfo, the papal summer residence near Rome, the Pope urged against the "indiscriminate use of force" and said,“I once again ask for an immediate end to the barbarity of the war and for a peaceful resolution to the conflict”. The leaders of Brazil and Canada have set examples on how standing up to US President Donald Trump can boost their popularity. Leaders around the world might do well to follow events in South America’s biggest country and America’s neighbour and biggest trading partner. If the US follows the schedule it has set for its global trade war, imports from Canada will carry a tariff of 35 per cent beginning on August 1. Brazil and Canada push back on US interference in their domestic affairs

The monsoon session of the Indian Parliament kicks off on Monday (Jul 21). As per reports the Indian Parliament is set for a stormy monsoon session, as the opposition INDIA bloc prepares to grill the Narendra Modi government on contentious issues like national security lapses and US President Donald Trump's repeated claims of brokering a "ceasefire" between India and Pakistan during the recent tensions, to voter rights and Jammu & Kashmir's statehood. Amid demands for an all-party meeting, the Centre has reportedly indicated its readiness to discuss issues of "great importance to the nation," saying it would "never shy away from a discussion".
Opposition mounting an attack on the Modi government?
Reports suggest that the opposition INDIA bloc, from which the Aam Aadmi Party recently exited, is gearing up to confront the government on a raft of issues it claims are being mishandled or suppressed. At the heart of the opposition's agenda is the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack and the Indian military's subsequent response—Operation Sindoor. The INDIA alliance is demanding answers from Prime Minister Narendra Modi on both the operation and what it calls a glaring intelligence failure that led to the death of 26 civilians. In an online strategy meeting on Saturday, 24 opposition parties have agreed to a joint plan to target the government over at least eight key concerns. These include Trump's controversial claim of brokering a ceasefire between India and Pakistan, the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Bihar and the delayed restoration of full statehood to Jammu & Kashmir.Congress MP and Rajya Sabha deputy leader Pramod Tiwari said the Opposition would insist that PM Modi address these matters in the House. "Parliament is more important than travelling abroad," said Tiwari in a conversation with PTI. "All leaders have expressed concern that all the terrorists behind the attack are free and no action has been taken against them despite so many days having passed since April 22. Now, a confession has also come that it was an intelligence failure. We got a lot of good and great things done, including ending numerous wars of countries not related to us other than through trade and/or, in certain cases, friendship.” Also read: Trump to help Israel relocate Palestinians out of Gaza? US President Donald Trump reportedly wanted to cancel government contracts with Elon Musk’s SpaceX after their relationship turned sour. But now that the Trump team is looking into it, they’re realising it’s not that straightforward. According to The Wall Street Journal, Trump administration staffers have reviewed SpaceX’s agreements with NASA and the Pentagon. They concluded that cancelling them could seriously damage key US space and defence programmes. Also read: Is Russia about to ban WhatsApp? None have actually been cancelled. That’s because there’s no alternative company that can do the same job as well or as cheaply. SpaceX is the world’s leading launch provider. Last year, it was behind 83% of all satellite launches globally. It’s been a long-time contractor for the US government and plays a vital role in helping Ukraine maintain communications in its war with Russia. You just do not have the capacity in our other launch options,” defence and space expert Todd Harrison told Forbes.
What about Musk’s other companies?
SpaceX isn’t the only Musk firm linked to the government. The Pentagon recently signed a $200 million deal with xAI, Musk’s artificial intelligence startup, to work on AI for military use. This happened just after xAI’s chatbot “Grok” sparked controversy by calling itself “MechaHitler” on X. Altogether, Musk has secured $38 billion in US government contracts. That includes $15.7 billion for Tesla alone, many of which were approved during Joe Biden’s presidency.

The head of Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency, David Barnea, visited Washington this week to seek US support for a controversial plan to relocate Palestinians from Gaza, according to a report by Axios. During his meeting with White House envoy Steve Witkoff, Barnea said that Israel has been in talks with Ethiopia, Indonesia, and Libya to accept large numbers of Palestinians displaced by the war in Gaza.He reportedly urged the US to offer incentives to those countries and help Israel make the plan a reality. Witkoff did not commit to anything during the discussion, and it is unclear whether the US government will get involved. Also read: 'Much better off starting anew': Trump tells Iran to rebuild nuclear sites elsewhere so they can be ‘obliterated’ again
Why is the plan controversial?
Israel’s government has described the move as a “voluntary” relocation, but both American and Israeli legal experts have said such actions could amount to a war crime. Nearly all of Gaza’s two million residents have been displaced during the ongoing conflict. Most buildings in the territory have been damaged or destroyed, and people have been forced to flee repeatedly, often with nowhere safe to go.Israel has been developing a strategy to move all Gazans to a narrow “humanitarian zone” near the Egyptian border. The plan has triggered serious concerns in Egypt and several Western capitals, where leaders fear it could be a step toward the mass removal of Palestinians from the territory.
What countries are involved?
Barnea told the US that Ethiopia, Indonesia, and Libya had shown “openness” to accepting displaced Palestinians. A senior Israeli official later claimed that any relocation would be “voluntary and not forced,” and that Palestinians who leave would be allowed to return to Gaza at any time. However, this claim has been widely questioned, with critics pointing out that people fleeing war zones with nowhere to live cannot truly be said to be making a free choice.
Has this been proposed before?
Back in February, US President Donald Trump proposed a similar plan to remove all Palestinians from Gaza and rebuild the region. But following strong opposition from Arab nations, the White House stepped back from the idea, according to US officials. Later, Trump’s administration told Israeli leaders that if Netanyahu wanted to go ahead with the idea, he would need to secure agreements from other countries willing to take in Palestinians. Netanyahu then tasked Mossad with finding those partners, leading to Barnea’s recent visit to Washington.
What are leaders saying now?
Speaking during his visit to the White House last week, Netanyahu said Israel was “working very closely” with the US to identify countries willing to accept Palestinians. He also referred to Trump’s earlier proposal, “I think President Trump had a brilliant vision. It’s called free choice. You know, if people want to stay, they can stay, but if they want to leave, they should be able to leave. It shouldn’t be a prison,” Netanyahu said. Following a private dinner, a senior Israeli official told reporters that Trump remains interested in pursuing the idea of Palestinian relocation. However, the White House has not publicly commented on the issue.

Trump’s newfound support for Ukraine and his public endorsement of NATO come as the conflict deepens and Russian attacks intensify.
What did Russia say?
In response to Ukrainian drone activity, Russia’s Defence Ministry said it had shot down 71 Ukrainian drones overnight. US President Donald Trump said on Saturday (July 19) that he had directed the Justice Department to release all grand jury testimony related to Jeffrey Epstein, pending court approval. In a post on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump wrote, “I have asked the Justice Department to release all Grand Jury testimony with respect to Jeffrey Epstein, subject only to Court Approval. With that being said, and even if the Court gave its full and unwavering approval, nothing will be good enough for the troublemakers and radical left lunatics making the request. The request was made late on Friday and specifically pertains to the transcripts presented before the grand jury. However, the department has said it will not release the thousands of other documents it holds, which could be made public without court approval. These include files the FBI handed over during its investigation.
What is in the grand jury testimony?
Grand jury proceedings are normally kept secret to protect the reputations of individuals who are not charged and to make witnesses feel comfortable enough to testify. The transcripts could include witness statements and evidence used to consider whether to bring criminal charges. But even with the Justice Department’s support, any release could take weeks or months due to legal debates over how to protect sensitive information. Critics say these transcripts are unlikely to contain shocking revelations. She gave no detailed explanation and has avoided questions about the decision. The move to release only grand jury materials gives the Trump administration a legal excuse for the lack of transparency, but it may do little to calm criticism.
What has triggered this new controversy?
Last week, the Wall Street Journal reported that Trump allegedly sent a birthday letter to Epstein in 2003. Trump denied writing the letter, calling it “false, malicious and defamatory”. He added, “These are not my words, not the way I talk. Also, I don’t draw pictures.”
Trump files $10 billion lawsuit over Epstein article
On Saturday, Trump revealed he had filed a $10 billion lawsuit against the Wall Street Journal. He accused the outlet of knowingly publishing false claims that caused “overwhelming financial and reputational harm”. He said the article was a key reason behind his push to unseal grand jury testimony, a move he believes will prove his innocence and repair his image with supporters.
How is Trump’s base reacting?
Trump had previously promised full transparency on the Epstein case during his campaign. But after last week’s announcement that no more evidence would be released, many of his followers expressed anger and suspicion.

The United States has decided to send its next Patriot air defence system to Germany instead of Switzerland, in a move aimed at speeding up the delivery of missile batteries to Ukraine. The Wall Street Journal reported the change on July 18, citing three US officials. This decision follows an announcement from the Swiss Defence Ministry, which said its delivery of US Patriot systems would be delayed after the State Department chose to prioritise support for Ukraine. Now, the Patriot system, coming off the production line, will be sent to Germany. In return, Berlin will send two of its own Patriots to Kyiv, the report said. Also read: ‘We’d have to go nuclear’: Only 8 days of missiles left? Ex-Pentagon official warns US military is low on missiles
Trump’s new arms plan for Ukraine starts to take shape
This marks the first time since Donald Trump voiced support for more military aid to Ukraine that the Pentagon has helped facilitate the process. On 7 July, Trump backed new weapons support, and by 14 July, he had announced a plan to send arms through a NATO- and EU-backed scheme. Under this plan, alliance members will buy US-made weapons for Ukraine. When outlining the plan, Trump claimed that Patriot systems and missiles could reach Ukraine “within days”.One senior US official told the WSJ that Washington will negotiate separate deals with each NATO country. These deals will include both offensive and defensive weapons, with countries giving the weapons to Ukraine and then buying replacements from the US.
NATO allies line up behind the new strategy
Germany, the UK, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands, Finland and Canada have all agreed to back the new approach, a NATO official said. On 7 July, Trump backed new weapons support, and by 14 July, he had announced a plan to send arms through a NATO- and EU-backed scheme. Under this plan, alliance members will buy US-made weapons for Ukraine. When outlining the plan, Trump claimed that Patriot systems and missiles could reach Ukraine “within days”. These deals will include both offensive and defensive weapons, with countries giving the weapons to Ukraine and then buying replacements from the US. US President Donald Trump has filed a $10 billion defamation lawsuit against The Wall Street Journal, its parent companies Dow Jones and News Corp, owner Rupert Murdoch, and two of the newspaper’s reporters over a report alleging he contributed a sexually suggestive birthday letter to Jeffrey Epstein in 2003. The suit was filed on July 18 in federal court in Miami, marking a dramatic escalation in Trump’s aggressive legal campaign against US media outlets. The Journal’s article, published on July 17, reported that Trump’s name appeared in a leather-bound birthday album compiled for Epstein’s 50th birthday. The note allegedly included a drawing of a naked woman, framed around typewritten text and signed “Donald.” The letter also allegedly included the phrase, “Happy Birthday—and may every day be another wonderful secret.”Trump has vehemently denied authoring the note, calling the WSJ’s report “false, malicious, defamatory, fake news.” In a fiery Truth Social post, he said the article was published despite prior warnings to Murdoch and Dow Jones executives. “Mr. Murdoch stated that he would take care of it but obviously did not have the power to do so,” Trump wrote. “I hope Rupert and his ‘friends’ are looking forward to the many hours of depositions and testimonies they will have to provide in this case.”
Media, free speech, and legal precedent
This marks the first time a sitting US president has sued a news outlet for defamation, according to legal experts. While Trump has filed multiple lawsuits against media organisations in recent years, including ABC, CBS, and social media firms, this case is viewed as a historic challenge to press freedom and could test the boundaries of First Amendment protections.Legal analysts say Trump faces a steep uphill battle. To prevail, he must prove the Wall Street Journal acted with “actual malice”—that the outlet knew the story was false or acted with reckless disregard for the truth. The Journal has stood by its reporting. A spokesperson for Dow Jones said, “We have full confidence in the rigour and accuracy of our reporting and will vigorously defend against any lawsuit.”The Journal did not publish the original letter or drawing, prompting Trump’s attorneys to argue in the 18-page filing that “no authentic letter or drawing exists.” The lawsuit accuses WSJ of failing to meet journalistic standards and publishing content with the intent to damage the president’s reputation.
Epstein fallout and MAGA division
The lawsuit comes amid renewed controversy over Trump’s ties to Epstein, the disgraced financier who died by suicide in 2019 while awaiting federal sex-trafficking charges. While Trump has long said he cut ties with Epstein before his legal troubles began, photographs and quotes from the early 2000s show they were socially acquainted. In one 2002 quote, Trump called Epstein “a terrific guy” who “likes beautiful women, many of them on the younger side.”The WSJ’s report, and the administration’s refusal to release Epstein-related files, has sparked backlash among Trump’s right-wing supporters, many of whom subscribe to conspiracy theories about Epstein’s “client list.” A recent Reuters/Ipsos poll found 69 per cent of Americans believe the government is hiding details about Epstein’s connections to powerful people. In response, Trump on July 17 ordered Attorney General Pam Bondi to seek the unsealing of grand jury transcripts related to Epstein in an attempt to quell public pressure. US President Donald Trump's relationship with Jeffrey Epstein continues to make headlines. One of his former staff members told CNN in an interview that the two were once caught bringing young girls to Trump's casino in Atlantic City. The girls were not old enough to gamble, he added. The White House has denied the allegations. Jack O’Donnell managed the Atlantic City Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino for four years in the 1980s. In an interview with CNN's Erin Burnett on July 16, he said that Epstein appeared to him as Trump's "best friend." Notably, Epstein was accused of abusing several underage girls and was later slapped with federal charges for the sex trafficking of minors in Florida and New York. Epstein was found dead in his cell on August 10, 2019, and it was ruled a suicide by hanging. Now, Trump is in the news for the Epstein files and has ordered his Attorney General, Pam Bondi, to release more documents related to the case. This comes after a Wall Street Journal report said that Trump sent Epstein a letter with the drawing of a naked woman on his 50th birthday. "In my mind, [Epstein] was his best friend, you know, [throughout] the time I was there for four years,” he said. He recalled a particular incident from the late 1980s when they brought three girls with them. Epstein and Trump took them to the casino floor even though they were not 21. One of them was a tennis player and had a world ranking of three at the time. This is how the officials got to know that the girls were underage. O’Donnell said he learnt about it the next day when state casino commission inspectors reached Trump's office. "This [inspector] happened to be a tennis fan and he said, 'Jack, I know she’s 19 years old,' " O'Donnell said. "They had determined that the women that they brought down were underage to be in the casino.” Also Read: 'FAKE NEWS': Trump denies sending 'naked woman drawing' letter for Jeffrey Epstein's 50th birthday - Here's what the letter claims It is illegal for anyone under the age of 21 to gamble in New Jersey. O’Donnell said he even cautioned Trump against Epstein and that he should not be "hanging out" with him. On Thursday night (July 17), Trump issued an order for the release of the files. "Based on the ridiculous amount of publicity given to Jeffrey Epstein, I have asked Attorney General Pam Bondi to produce any and all pertinent Grand Jury testimony, subject to Court approval. This SCAM, perpetuated by the Democrats, should end, right now!" he wrote on Truth Social.

Also Read: Trump FINALLY releasing Epstein Files? Here's what he told Pam Bondi to do after letter row: 'This SCAM...' Underage tennis star accompanied Trump and Epstein O’Donnell told CNN that he often saw Trump and Epstein together at the casino. However, O’Donnell said that the officers left Trump only with a warning. "I had to call them and say, 'They're giving you a break this time, but if this happens again, the fine is going to be substantial and it's going to be on your head,' " he claimed. O’Donnell said he even cautioned Trump against Epstein and that he should not be "hanging out" with him. "I did tell him in that conversation, 'I don’t think you should be hanging out with this guy, just so you know, and you certainly shouldn’t be doing that in Atlantic City,' " he said. https://www.wionews.com/videos/us-president-trump-says-epstein-critics-are-being-used-by-democrats-1752774251430/embed White House slams O’Donnell as liar and fraud Meanwhile, White House communications director Steven Cheung dismissed the allegations made by O’Donnell, calling him a "stone-cold loser who is a liar and a fraud." He told People in a statement, "This is completely fabricated story from his warped imagination as he suffers from Trump Derangement Syndrome that has rotted his pea-sized brain.” The president has been trying to cut himself off from the matter, but the Trump administration is being pressured to release more evidence about Epstein's 2019 child sex-trafficking case.
