IPL: Chris Gayle takes time-off in Kerala

The 'Universal Boss' Chris Gayle, 38, currently playing for Punjab in the IPL took a break from the game and went to Kollam, Kerala with his wife and daughter. 

Chris Gayle checked-in to the hotel on Sunday and was expected to stay there for few days.

The player is spending quality time with his family by indulging in fishing and boat ride activities. 

The left-handed batting sensation also uploaded pictures of himself and his family.




Gayle was picked up Punjab at his base price, he had to wait for four matches for his turn to play in the lucrative league.

Gayle was quick to capitalise on his break with a power-packed century against Hyderabad.

So, far the West Indian 'Gayle storm' has scored 252 runs including one century and two half-centuries. 

Gayle's power-hitting has propelled Punjab to the third position in the Indian Premier League(IPL) table.

He has played some scintillating knocks and more is expected of him with the IPL hotting up. 

Gayle is expected join his team in Indore on May 4th against struggling Mumbai.
