
An Afghani journalist and a cultural adviserto the Parliament was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in the eastern part of Kabul on Sunday.
Mina Mangal, who had worked as a news presenter for three local TV networks, was attacked by gunmen on Sunday morning, reported Tolo News.
One or possibly more assailants escaped from the scene, report saod.
Kabul police have launched an investigation.
No one immediately claimed responsibility for the attack.
Kabul police said it was not clear whether the murder was a terror act or the result of a personal dispute. Both Islamic State and Taliban militants regularly carry out attacks in the capital.
According to a report, a total of 15 journalists were killed in a series of bombings that began early this year, with nine of them in a single day.
