New Delhi
Facebook recently celebrated the 30th birthday of GIF by introducing GIF option in the comment section. The users already had the option of sending GIFs on Messenger and Facebook-owned Whatsapp.
As part of its new introduction, Facebook is coming with a feature for its users where they can inscribe their creativity and create their own GIFs.
The social media network is looking forward to introducing a new GIF mode in Facebook Camera. The mode has yet not been rolled out.
It was noticed by The Next Web's Director of Social Media Matt Navarra. He discovered the new GIF option on the top of the Facebook camera. However, the feature was found only in iOS and was not seen in Android.
After the feature rolls out users will be able to access it by a right swipe to open the camera. According to TNW's report, the GIFs created will be short lasting for few seconds. The GIFs can be upgraded with the existing Facebook's effects and frames.
The GIF created can be stored in the phone or posted on the Facebook wall.
