Watch: Protesters in Chembur disrupt traffic over Bhima Koregaon clash
A day after a youth died in Pune during the 200th anniversary of Bhima Koregaon battle, protesters in Chembur and Mulund in Mumbai area disrupted traffic and virtually halted the eastern
expressway.
On Monday, one person was killed and three others injured after clashes at Bhima Koregoan near Pune in Maharashtra during celebrations to commemorate the anniversary of the battle of Koregoan.
Several thousand Dalits had gathered to celebrate the event but soon stone-pelting began resulting in a caste clash.

Police said that over 100 people have been detained from various locations around Mumbai.

However, Mumbai Police said Section 144 has not been imposed in Chembur or other parts of eastern suburbs as rumours spread of large-scale disruptions.
