Watch: Ludhiana-born Anshdeep Singh Bhatia joins Trump's security team

US President Trump's security team has an Indian face - Ludhiana-born Anshdeep Singh Bhatia.

Minister of state for housing & urban affairs in the Modi government, Hardeep Singh Puri informed in his Twitter handle that Anshdeep went to court after he was reportedly asked to change his "looks". Anshdeep won the case and was inducted into President Trump's security detail.

"Sikh sangat (community) is proud as he now becomes the first turbaned Sikh to be inducted into US President’s security detail,” minister Hardeep Singh Puri announced on micro-blogging site.
