
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today addressed the parliamenton Motion of thanks onPresident Ram Nath Kovind's joint address of the house and said that the country has given a strong mandate, as our government was voted back into power.
"The president in his address mentioned our vision for India. We should all move forward together. We can overcome every obstacle together. About 60 speakers spoke on the Motion of Thanks," PM Narendra Modi said in Lok Sabha.
Thanking country's voter PM Narendra Modi said that after many decades, the country has given a strong mandate, a government was voted back into power.This Lok Sabha elections have shown that more than themselves, the people of India are thinking about the betterment of the country, this spirit is commendable.
"We have to move together to fulfil the dream of a strong, safe, developed and inclusive nation," said PM Modi speaking in Lok Sabha.
President Ram Nath Kovind had addressed the Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha last week and had raised several issues comprising water crisis, 'One Nation, One Poll' proposal and the National Register of Citizens.
The President had said that the government has taken the decision to go ahead with the process of National Register Citizens on a priority basis.
Following the fierce debate between the government and the opposition, Congress specifically
