Morning brief: Here's a look at the top stories.
In a short while from now, the Modi 3.0 government in India will present its first budget. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the budget. At the time of writing this brief, Sitharaman posed with the iconic red tablet outside the ministry ahead of the budget presentation. She has now left for Parliament.
In her seventh budget, Sitharaman is expected to incentivise 'Made in India' procurement across industries and provide tax breaks for new manufacturing setups and factories.
In other news from around the world, the Israeli militaryinitiated a new assault on Khan Younis in southern Gaza, killing at least 70 people.
