Lok Sabha polls 2019: Rahul Gandhi files nomination from Amethi

Congress president Rahul Gandhi filed his nomination papers for the Amethi Lok Sabha seat on Wednesday.
Gandhi was accompanied by his mother and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and sister Priyanka Gandhi.
Gandhi embarked on a roadshow ahead of filing the nomination papers.
He was accompanied by sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, her husband Robert Vadra and their two children.
Rahul Gandhi, who is also contesting from Wayanad in Kerala, had filed his nomination papers there on April 4.
Rahul Gandhi, who has been representing the constituency for the past 15 years, will this time again face BJP's Smriti Irani who is likely to file her nomination papers a day later on Thursday.
