TCS leads tech gains, lifts market sentiment

India's Tata Consultancy Services led gains among major Indian companies on Friday, giving investors reason for optimism and lifting sentiment across the Information Technology sector. TCS shares surged as much as 5 per cent on Friday after the company reported its second quarter earnings.
