The encounter took place at Futlipora in the Pakherpora area of Budgam, 45 km from Srinagar, where security forces had launched a cordon and search operationfollowing information about thepresence of terrorists in the area, an Army official told PTI.
Mobile internet services were suspended in Budgam because of the encounter.
